Mercury_Heart The Valkyrie Ryu Cohcho the Empress Mercury_Heart I really loved where this rant on Shoujo Beat was going *laughs* I didn't know they had articles on bands tho : x I just know them for the manga *shy retarded neglected laugh* but dang, from the sounds of things they have it all wrong D: I'm really not buying the magazine now *not like I ever did, but that just tops it* and seriously, An Cafe as hardcore rock? Someone needs to be stoned to death at Shoujo Beat >.> Last I heard of An Cafe they hired some American dude as their bassist I think? Oh well, this is a Mana forum so I'll shut up now XD I haven't been following An Cafe since Bou left. Its just...one of the members looks like a DJ Ozma cosplayer all the time practically, and Miku looks like he's on crack because he's doing the eye thing. Its ridiculous. I think Bou left at a good time, because around the time he left he started doing the eye thing too and it was just freaky... what eye thing? o.o do you mean twitching or something, because my eye is twitching right now! :'D @ Mercury Heart: i have a Shojo Beat from a couple of years ago.. it has a picture of HYDE in it.. but i get annoyed by that pic because the photo is manipulated to the point that HYDE looks like he's a CG character! xD and do you mean that dude from an cafe with the curly blond hair (the hair that bothers ryu very much) *laughs* Dear God Hyde is like in every magazine I find XD But the solo Hyde is different from the lead singer's Larc~en~ciel's Hyde right? *or is his spelled Hide? @___@ * And yes I mean the guy with curly blonde hair *laughs* I wasn't really a big fan of An Cafe though, they're one of the few jrock bands I don't like that much. iunno anymore! *runs around in circles* you're confusing me! D;

*INSERT MANA HEADDESK ICON HERE* Basically, I was answering your question T^T You asked if the blonde curly haired guy in An Cafe was the dude I was talking about earlier, yes you are correct on that. And then you mentioned Hyde was in your Shojou Beat magazine. It's probably the grown up Hyde that is probably like in his freaking 40's *from what I've seen he's been around for a long time in the music world O___O * And then I mentioned how there is also someone named "Hyde" in the band Larc~en~ciel. I don't think they're the same person, but yeah, it's confusing me too a bit on that subject XD But I'm sorry I'm confusing crying

Answer: Hide (pronounced: Hee-deh)=ex. X Japan (gosh that looks weird capitalized?) This man has been dead for many years. Perhaps even over ten years? Then there's: Hyde (pronounced: Haid)=L'arc~en~ciel is that what you were asking?

My sister used to buy Shojobeat for the manga, and then one day she decided that she didn't need it anymore. That felt odd...her not needing to read it anymore, but then again I was stunned the day when she stopped watching Shaman king, or wanting anymore of the series (glad I didn't waste too much of my hard earned cash buying it.) And to learn that they've taken idiocy to this level makes me sigh with relief. Maybe they should just stick to manga and possibly anime eh?

I think it should just be treated like a manga sampler and nothing more.

If I'm going to spend 10 bucks on Shojobeat then I might as well go out and spend the cash for the manga and decide whether or not it's worth reading, but in that respect I can see it, of course my sister can just borrow one...or more often than not, swaps manga with her friends.

With the high tax, by the time you've bought it it's closer to seven and some change, so I just prefer to be safe with a nice round number of ten...and of course the store discount doesnt apply to magazines (and I use the term loosely).
