At the edge of the village, Odik let out a sigh. "So it begins." He began to speak his native toungue at a bristling pace. Light green motes of energy swirled in his cupped palms, until they came to a gradual stop and formed an arrow pointing to the east. "Past the shrine? If the Forest wills it..." Speaking another incantaion, the arrow broke apart, and circled around his legs before entering. "This should last until night fall." And with that, Odik took off at break neck speeds, being careful not to trample the foiliage or collide with the trees.

Pen could have sworn she felt a tingle in her hand as she helped the stranger onto Bael's back. Rubbing it absently, she realized something. "I haven't even introduced myself! Forgive me. My name is Pen," she said to the older girl.

Name: Zarich 'Zar'
Age: Unknown, early teen years
Gender: Male
Race: Shadow Elf

Bio: When he was born, Zar right away became an outsider. His Shadow Elf Clan did not think he would be strong enough in the future because he was a small child at birth. They planned to kill him, but his parents wouldnt let them. When his parents were murdered by the Dark Elven Coucil, in order to get to Zar, he escaped, and fended for himself in the forest. Since then, hes been developing his skills in black magic and when he sculpted himself a few daggers, he could hunt anything. When he gets older, he will avenge his parents...

Personality: He usually is very trustworthy, though he never trusts anyone. Most the time, Zar keeps to himself and hardly has any friends. Smart and quiet, Zar never lets his guard down, yet is never nervous. Only when he feels comfortable enough, you can see another more friendly side of him.

Appearance: His hair is dark blue, his eyes are a fiery orange. He is a tall muscular elf. Zar wears a black headband and a black vest angainst his gray-bluish colored chest. For his bottoms, he wears jet black light pants that allow him to move around without being heard. He is barefoot.

Extras: Zar has a high amount of stealth, stamina, balance, and speed. He is also in the art of Dagger Assassination, and his black magic skills are advanced.

Ivy turned around and looked at the boy. Her eyes narrowing and her hands faintly started glowing again. "Who are you and how do you know this?" She asked feircly. She didn't really like how people were popping up out of nowhere nowadays, it unerved her to no end.

Bael looked at the elf for a moment. He didn't seem lost in any way, and even if he didn't seem to lie, he wasn't sure to trust him. Regardless, a monster was the least of his concern. He could easily fly over any monster that lived on the ground, and even if the manakete were almost never involved in any conflicts, the power of a manakete was so overdriven that they could easily defeat armies. Of course, they did have a weakness, arrows, but that was far from this topic. Besides, he couldn't fight with wo people on his back too. He gave the elf a questioning look and nodded towards his back, his way of asking iof the elf was coming with them or not. Regardless, he wasn't planning on waiting any longer. The warning was appreciated, but not very necessary.

Pen watched the new stranger run off with a minimal amount of fear. If Bael wasn't worried about the monster, than why should she be? It hit her that it was a very random coincidence that they all happened to run into each other in the middle of such a large forest. Realizing she hadn't answered the question, she turned back and said, "No, you didn't hurt me at all, Ivy." Pen felt curious. "So...how did you end up lost in the forest?"

"He's going with us? Geez, what's the matter with that guy?" Bael thought to himself. He shook his head slightly before he took off. Even if he did his best to be careful, the start was still rather rocky. As soon as he had gotten some height, however, the ride became more steady. Gliding over the forest wasn't a bad thing, and the night was beautiful in it's own way. Usually there were the thought that would have occupied his mind, but he instead listened to the girls conversation ashe looked down, trying to find whatever it was that the elf had said lived there. It probably was just plain nonsense, after all he hadn't seen anything when he left that morning. If there really was something down there that wanted to attack anyone that passed by, it was more likley to attacka small person flying close to the trees than a dragon, flying high above the forest.
