Alex reached over and pinched Yuki. The blonde yelped in pain. "Nope. You're awake."
"Living in a grocery store isn't very fun when the power is out. All the ice cream melts."

Yuki would of yelled at Alex if he wasn't afraid of him.
"N-nothing is wrong. I really don't want to be a bother to you." He said as he started to stand up.

"..Ice cream? Where?!" Drakul got up and ran off, in search for the freezers.
He hadn't eaten ice cream in years, one of his favorite treats when he was a kid.
A few minutes later, he came slidding back, two cartons in hand, along with some plastic spoons.
"Success!" He cried out in happiness, as he sat back down as Yuki began to do the opposite.
"..Huh?
Hey, where are you going, Yuki?
You can't just leave Alex and I here alone..
Besides, we have ice cream now."

Alex grabbed Yuki's hand and pulled him back down. "Don't worry the vampires won't hurt you. Relax and eat." Alex took a spoon and began to dig in.
"I haven't had ice cream in awhile. I forgot how good it was." He smiled at Drakul.

"Apparently I'm going nowhere..." Yuki said as he let Alex pull him back down. He took the spoon but did not eat. Instead he drew his knees up to his chest and hid his face.
He just wanted to be alone. He didn't want to cry in front of those...creatures.

"Yeah, don't worry, Yuki.
Unless you want us to hurt you, we promise we won't." He laughed softly and smiled, before grabbing a spoon and taking some ice cream for himself.
He looked at Yuki again and tilted his head slightly, before getting up and hugging him.
"You know, it is okay to be upset, or to cry if you want, Yuki.
It's not like we'd make fun of you or anything.." He said, before patting his head softly.

He pulled away from Drakul. "Don't touch me! Just leave me alone!"
He stood up and walked to the back of the store and started to cry.

Drakul sat still, not knowing what to do.
He was only trying to help, but like always, he had made things worse.
He stood up, sighed, and walked the opposite way past Alex, taking out and lighting another cigarette.

Alex stood up and followed Drakul. "He's just upset. Don't take it personal. Give him some time to calm down."
He could hear Yuki sobbing in the back of the store. He wanted to comfort the kid, but he didn't want to upset him more.
"So do you live around here or are you a tourist like Yuki?" He asked as he took the cigarette from Drakul and took a drag.

"Yeah, I know.." He sighed softly before leaning against the wall, taking one last drag before Alex snatched it from him.
"Huh, I thought you didn't smoke.
Anyways, I'm originally from New Jersey, but I ran away about two years ago, just wandering around and looking for someone or somewhere to stay.
What about you?" He looked down, trying not to cry.

Alex took another puff before handing the cigarette back to Drakul. "I do when I'm stressed."
"I was born in London. I traveled the world with the vampire who turned me until he got murdered 20 years ago. Since then I've just been traveling trying to find someplace to call home."
He placed a hand on Drakul's shoulder. "You okay?"

Yuki walked back to where Alex and Drakul were. His eyes red and puffy from crying. "I'm sorry I pushed you away, Drakul..." He said not meeting Drakul's eyes.

"Thanks." He said before taking a long drag to finish it off, before he threw it across the floor.
"I had a home where I lived with my Dad, but when I was seven, I sort of lost it..
So, I guess you could say we're sort of in the same position right now." He said, before nodding softly, wiping a tear from his eye.
"Yeah, just seeing Yuki cry made me think of some stuff about my past, which always makes me upset.."
He heard Yuki's voice, but didn't look towards him.
"Yeah, it's fine.."

Alex grabbed Drakul and pulled him into a hug. He slowly rubbed Drakul's back. "Don't you go crying on me now too. I'm about ready to cry myself. We have got to be strong."
