Audrey kept repeating the same thing almost until she was on the brink of tears, her legs recoiling closer to her body. "Did I hurt you, Damien? Did I...?" Her eyes slide out of focus again.

With that, the insanity finally stopped, her eyes wide and clueless. She just lay there listening to the beat of his heart.

The tear landed on her cheek, Audrey smooshing her face onto him lovingly. "Don't cry, Damien...you'll just rub it off on me." Sniffs, giving him a weak meager smile.

Her eyes droop half shut as she gazes up at him smiling happily. "Damien...I'm glad. Thank you for watching over me." Reaches up weakly and touches his face.

Strokes the back of his head as he hugged her, sighing happily. Audrey smiled again and look at her hand where a scar had surfaced and started to dread the future.

Uses his shoulder as support, standing up shakily and started to stagger away. "Yeah...I think." Grabs the side of her head, shaking as she went deeper into the forest.
