This is a very old point of interest tracing back to the day when I first played KH when it came out; though of course it was further speculated upon hearing about "Nobodies".
The paradox is a simple one:
Heartless = Hearts(+ darkness) - Body
Nobodies = Bodies - hearts
BTW: Xehanort can also be changed to: Another; as well as No Heart.

Yakura Shima Besket And COINCIDENTALLY, Kairi, the least popular character in Kingdom Hearts, just so happens to be Sora's love interest. Hmmmm. Isn't that such a COINCIDENTAL COINCIDENCE? *cough* Not that I'm trying to make a point or anything. Really.

Riku is also Soras love interest.
And sora is DEFINITELY Rikus love interest.
no doubt about it.
Actually im not sure Sora even understands what love is.
and if he was actually in love with such a useless being as HER, then he would have gone back to the island with her, making sure shed be safe and things would work out.
and Sora pretty much shows more interest in Riku considering the fact that he showed more emotion and excitement over him.
HELL, he CRIED over him.
Something is indeed wrong there. You do not, I repeat, do not see guys cry over their male best friends XD
...Unless they are gay for them, LOVE them XD
Like, I can truly be honest and say I cry over people I like over my best friends XD
...Sora cried over his best friend instead of the one he 'loved' XD
I can relate to this situation because my best friend cried over ME, her best friend, because she liked me. If she didn't like me, she wouldn't have cried. XD
Why I know? Because she is finally over me and doesn't cry over me anymore and are just best friends XD
and also agreed. Sora doesn't seem the type to even KNOW what love is XD

Though, at the same time, it is slightly wierd naming them like that XD

..but I totally know where you are coming from. Because really...how CAN you live without a heart? It's what keeps you alive XD
...so yea...maybe it's figuratively speaking XD
like...because they have no feelings of love, hurt, etc. because of what they became...so it's like they don't have a heart so they wish for one to know what such things are like again? XD
