All of the sudden Ryder's face turned darkly serious. Now unhooded, he whipped around in his seat when he heard the tearing of a human body. He knew that something was wrong, this wasn't part of the bar brawl. He saw the dead corpse lying on the ground, ripped to shreds. He also saw the girl and the Hakon race off. It was the Hakon, Ryder thought to himself. Turning back to Alexa, Ryder said, "excuse me, but I'll have to cut this conversation short." He was finishing up his drink when the man he had payed earlier spoke to him in a whisper. Ryder took all of it in. Interesting, he knew I was an outlaw and yet he still took my money. Why didn't he try and detain me? This could get exciting... In spite of the situation with the UNSC soldiers coming, Ryder couldn't help grinning a little. Then he heard the sound of heavy boots surrounding the cantina. He stood up and risked a quick glance at them. There were six in total, more to come soon. As usual, they went from the body into the cantina where they treated everybody as a suspect. It looked like they weren't going to let anybody come in or come out. Ryder started to walk out of the cantina. Instantly, all six soldiers surrounded him, blocking his path. "Halt!" one of them said. Ryder looked around at all of them with the slight turn of his head. One of them recognized him. "Ryder...you're the man with a half a million credits on you're head. Men, rifles up!" All six soldiers leveled their rifles at Ryder's body. Ryder tilted his head a little and said calmy, "I had nothing to do with this, and I have to be going somewhere. So if you'll just-" He was cut off by the sound of the squad leader loading his rifle. "Move and you die," he hissed. Ryder's eyes started to turn a blood red crimson color, his bangs were hanging in front of his face. Time seemed to stand still, nobody moved. Slowly, under his ragged cloak, Ryder loosened two kunai knives down from each of his assassin gauntlets into the palms of his left and right hands. He kept them at his sides. Suddenly, with inhuman speed, Ryder's arms whipped forwards and threw the daggers at a blinding pace. If one's eyes were able to keep up with the deadly knives, they would have seen that Ryder threw them so they were spinning sideways. They curved towards the two soldiers in front of Ryder and sliced through their necks, cutting the neck arteries. Then, they arced around and sliced the two soldiers' necks to the sides of Ryder. Finally, they curved once again and ended up embedded in the two soldiers that were behind Ryder, necks. No human eye could follow this one second long event. It seemed Ryder had barely moved. One would have to slow down time to see the killings. All six soldiers instantly fell to the ground...

Ethan watched as the Marines fell to the floor Oh s**t! Time to go Ethan and Wo'Jula jumped out of the booth and ran over to the soldiers laying on the floor, checking for pulses. These men are all dead, Ethan Ethan turned to look up at Ryder with hatred in his eyes. So you really are the killer the bounty says you are Ethan looked back at the bodies of the men he once considered brothers. He sighed. Men who had sacrificed on the frontlines against aliens who want to destroy man, were now dead, killed by one of the mankind they vowed to protect. Without even looking at Ryder, Ethan pusehd off the deck, thrusting his feet into the ground, and slammed Ryder against the bulkhead, his combat knife at Ryder's throat. I know you have superhuman reflexes, but so do i Wo'Jula was now standing on Ethan's right side, his energy sword ignited and ready to swing should Ryder try to retalitate. Ethan's hounds were on his left, teeth barred, and ready to lunge at a split second's notice.

Ryder had stood motionless after the quick kill. He straightened up and looked around at the dead soldiers, his face gave nothing away. He sensed Ethan and the Elite come up and check them, and he also sensed Ethan's hosility. He didn't say anything to his comment about the bounty. Suddenly, Ryder was slammed into the wall by Ethan; if it wasn't for his superhuman strength, he would have broken various parts of his body. However, Ryder's strength didn't quite match Ethans and he knew it. Staring coldly with his red eyes into Ethan's, Ryder asked rigidly, "You care about those men so much huh? If they were on this station chances are that they were a bit corrupt." Ryder didn't keep going, he was saying too much. Knowing that Ryder didn't have the pure muscle to get Ethan, the Elite, and the dogs off of him, he thought, ...but my speed is greater. In a blink of an eye, Ryder used his martial arts expertise to send a quick crane jab at Ethan's combat knife hand so that he would drop it. Then, even faster, Ryder used the wall as leverage to twist flip directly over Ethan and get behind him. Ryder was a blur of speed no human eye could match. Before sprinting out of the room, Ryder gave a savage look at the Elite with his red eyes and then bounded towards the docking area.

Suzie lowered the second glass and sighed. Standing up slowly, she looked over at Ethan and his Friend, she smiled lightly. She clapped a few short small claps and then grabbed her large devastating weapon, which she threw over and rested upon her shoulder. She shook her head slowly and her rather unkept blonde hair wavered in a like motion. "Two of you against the one man and you can't detain him. Why don't you want to kill him? You can't just do something if your spirit and heart don't agree with you." She shook her head again, now grinning rather largely. "Half a million credits is a lot, the three of us can equally split it, what do you boys say?" She was of course speaking to Ethan and Wo'Jula still. "He may be fast on his feet, but can he outrun a blazing fire? Can he dodge the scorching of an explosion or two? What say you two? Are you in?"

Calla skidded to a stop at the dock holding Kiah Come. She took a few deep breaths and tried to calmly but quickly walk to her ship. Ophelia followed suit, half a step behind Calla.

A hand clamped on her arm and Calla nearly screamed. Ophelia growled her displeasure. "Get off."

The man from earlier glared at the Hakon, but removed his hand. "My apologies, Miss Sanford, but I wished to let you know the cargo has already been loaded. Now, about the payment..."

Calla shook her head quickly, flashing her most brilliant smile. "We can talk that over any time before I leave for...where was I headed?"

"Two stops, actually. Earth, then Azel. I'll send you the coordinates when you arrive- you know my channel, yes?"

Calla nodded vigorously, glancing nervously back at the corridor. Any moment now, the UNSC would come pouring out..."Yep, got it. Listen, I've got to run- er, I've got to get going, I mean. See ya on the flip side, Hank!" She bolted into Kiah Come, racing up the stairs to get the ship moving. Ophelia gave Hank one last dirty look before strolling into the cargo hold. Her eyes narrowed as a man [Ryder] raced out of the main corridor into the docking bay.

Ryder faintly heard a girl talking to Ethan as he'd sprinted out of the cantina. His legs were pumping him now towards the docking bay. Ryder started to gain speed; he was now running at the pace of 25 mph and steadily increasing. Ryder could see the docked ships ahead of him with his blood red eyes. Quickly, while he was running, Ryder zoomed in a little with his cybernetic eyes and saw a group of 3 UNSC soldiers jogging straight towards him...he could also see the Hakon.

A small black fighter had just barely entered the hanger when all the commotion was happening. It's cockpit was still open, however empty of it's pilot. A figure stood next to it, reaching casually into a compartment just on the inside and withdrawing a a dark cloak, and a bundle of unknown items. He took a few seconds to do some fastening and arranging, and then set a few things back, locking the compartment and closing the cockpit. Grey turned around, his body invisible to anyone who may be looking, hidden beneath his dark cloak. He did not wish to attract any unwanted attention, and therefore decided to keep his appearance a secret. Across his back a long something lay, encased in wrappings. He took a few steps forward, immediately taking in everything around him. The first thing he noticed was a human, sprinting extremely fast... in fact, too fast, to be normal; and three UNSC soldiers directly ahead of him. The Hakon, however, evaded his sight for now, though he could sense it. 'Looks like trouble. I should be careful.' Grey thought to himself as he continued on, headed for the cantina. He could smell hounds.

Damn! Ethan huffed as his blade slipped out of his limp hand. He deftly swiped it from the air with his left hand and resheathed it in one fluid motion as Ryder flipped over his head. Ethan spun aroudn in time to see the dogs begin to chase after Ryder. {color=darkred] No. Let him run. There will be other times. He looked to Wo'Jula to see him nod his head in assent. At the sound of clapping, Ethan and Wo'Jula turned their heads to look and see who had missed their earlier display in the cantina. When he saw it was a girl about his age, he shook his head tiredly. You really think its that easy do you?.... No deal, we don't want anything to do with you, nor do we need your help. Killing him isn't exactly on the top of our to-do list. We have other things to do. Ethan turned around and rubbed his limp hand as he left the cantina, pausing only to look at the dead soldiers. Wo'Jula stalked out behind him followed closely by the hounds. They turned left at the main passageway back towards the docking strip.

Ryder was running along the docking strip now; he was at a speed of 35 mph. The soldiers farther along the strip had stopped and assumed a defensive position, guns facing Ryder. "Freeze!" one of them shouted with authority. Ryder increased his speed. The soldiers cocked their rifles. I could use the time manipulator...but then I'll only have ten seconds and then I'll have to wait a crapload of time 'till it recharges, Ryder thought to himself. Scenes around the docks flew past him, only seen using his cybernetic eyes. Then, Ryder focused his vision, locking onto the soldiers. He clicked his fingers together. Time seemed to slow drastically around Ryder, but he himself moved at normal speed. 10...9... Ryder reached the soldiers at full speed and went into a front roll. 8...7... While rolling, Ryder snatched one of the soldiers' frag grenades. 6...5... Ryder then rolled to his feet and continued running. 4...3... Ryder pulled the grenade's pin and dropped the explosive behind him. 2...1... Ryder kept on running to his ship while everyone around him was moving slowly. 0... The dock went back to normal right when the grenade exploded, scattering the soldiers like rag dolls. Ryder reached his ship and ran up the ramp into the cockpit. Time to go, he thought while activating the engines of the Strahl.

The Hakon watched the whole ordeal with apparent indifference. It was only Calla's voice over the intercom system, commanding Ophelia to shut the hatch, that finally moved her. As soon as the ship was space worthy, Calla shot off into open space. Cargo ships were not designed for quick getaways, however Kiah Come was one of the fastest for her bulk.

Calla grimly plugged into the ship. One eye was on Ophelia, and the other was eyeing the station for signs of pursuit. "Ophelia. Get up here."

The Hakon sighed and folded her arms, but obeyed. She'd only done what Calla would have done for her if they were in opposite positions. Humans were weak- a stray blow could harm her severely.

Calla flipped a pair of switches as a red light flickered to life and scowled. "C'mon Kiah, we've got to put some distance between us and that station, 'k?" Though she was in constant movement- adjusting, realigning, and generally maintaining their course for Earth- Calla knew precisely when the Hakon came up to the bridge. "...Do you know why we had to leave like this, Serpent?"

The Hakon responded without emotion. "I killed a threat."

"You killed a man. On a station. In plain view of everyone." The brunette glanced back at Ophelia sternly. "Now we have to hope that somehow we won't get caught."

"No trouble." Her emerald eyes gleamed with cold confidence. "We won't."

Suzie leisurely exited the cantana after Ethan and his partner. She looked through the scope of her large weapon, spying at Ryder as he was charging into a group of three, then an explosion clouded her vision. She lowered the weapon slowly. "Nope, surely it won't be easy, but then, when is anything both easy and fun? Well suit yourselves, I think it should be a test of skill, strength, endurance. See you around, hope y'all don't bump into that man again." She smiled lightly and started in a slow walk down the street, same direction as Ryder, but of course there was about a 33 mph difference in there speed, she wasn't going to even attempt to pursue him... yet.

((haha, nice post Suzie))
The engines of the Strahl hummed loudly to life. Ryder engaged all systems for his ship and prepared to take off. Slowly, the Strahl backed up out of the dock and turned around, facing the exit. Ryder flipped a quick switch and the ship burst out of the space station at full speed. He turned on the afterburners and rocketed away...

((Thanks))

Suzie slowly shook her head, by now, only a mere ten minutes later, he could be anywhere in the station. She sighed lightly and shift the course of her walk back into the cantana. For heaven's sake, the UNSC soldiers didn't even live long enough to block off and investigate the brutal slaying in the building. "Very interesting men, every one of them... Interesting. Bartender! Give me another!" She smiled, ordering the same as she did a moment ago, when a few more UNSC soldiers were breathing. And it happened to be the most alcoholic thing they had. She nodded in delight and drained the glass in a mere second or two. Then she sat there, thinking to herself for some time...

A large ship was slowly pulled into one of th elarger docks of the Space Station, within minutes several ESSF and UNSC soldiers stampeded out and charged around the city, they whole spotting of the man with a massive bounty caught much attention, hearing about at minimun a dozen UNSC soldiers were killed. After all the soldiers exited a few large tanks were unloaded. Each tank containing some sort of robotic A.I. being. the third tank was unloaded and opened.
"PD-0040 online. Sensors Online. Scanning perimeter."
After a while a man walked up to the Android and plugged in a small chip into the mechanical shoulder on PD-0040.
"Information accepted, Target......... Ryder....... Wanted for Treason, murder, theft, blackmail, grand theft auto, breaking and entering, vandalism, trespassing, conspiring against the government, assault, sabotage, resisting arrest, forgery, possession of an illegal object, piracy, and impersonating a UNSC soldier. Bounty..... 515,000 Credits... Search and seek mode activated."
The android, the one that called himself PD-0040 stated walking through the massive Space city, not stopping anywhere, just walking around, the scanner in it's eye was searching around, sensing the heat off of bodies of literally tens of thousands of people. None of them matched the body size, wait, and normal heart rate of Subject Ryder perfectly.

He had been on this station for less than ten minutes, and Grey already wished he hadn't stopped here. It seemed, from what he could gather from thiose around him, that the excessively fast man was wanted, and for quite a large sum of credits. As he continued down thecorridor towards the cantina, the man and Elite with the hounds passed by. He smiled. He'd been right about smelling the dogs. Upon entering the cantina, he stopped for a moment to examine the bodys lying on the floor. 'No doubt that walking bounty's work.' He thought to himself. Looking back up, he asked fairly loudly from beneath his cloak, "Who did this?" Catching the criminal, a task he knew would be simple for one such as himself, and obtaining the reward credits would definately come in handy.
