The waitress nodded then walked off,leaving the two alone once again.
Nightshade smiled lightly as she looked to him, sitting back so to give him a full view of her assests, she knew what was the very first thing men would look at when meeting her. And knowing that she easily tookadvantage of that. Looking to him,she smirked, speaking with a smooth and calming voice," So What do you do Demon?"

Looking away from the waitress and directly back into Nightshade's own eyes, he responded, "I'm an ODST trooper. I'm currently on leave from duty." His voice was inlaced with the utmost confidence, as was his gaze. Never once did Ryder look down, even for the slightest second, at Nighshade's 'assets.' He held a steady gaze on her that seemed to be somewhat...challenging. When the waitress came back and set down their drinks, Ryder picked his glass up and drank out of it, keeping his eyes on Nighshade. "So what do you do Ms. Luna?"

Nightshade smiled lightly, partially glad for hom to have not taken the bait she had set out. Grabing her drink lightly,she took a sip from it, always challenging with her gaze. giving him a small smiled before she responded," Oh at the moment I am looking for a job...I worked down in the entertainment district for a while..."

Most people didn't know this about Ryder, but he partially held everything as a challenge. Including females. In fact, he savored the feeling. Cocking an eyebrow, Ryder asked, "Oh? Doing what, may I ask?" His facial features seemed to be hinting something very...sexual.

She gave him a small seductive look in responce to his actions,but quickly changed it to a small smile," Oh odds and ends, waitressing, secretary, modeling...doing whatever can help make ends meet."
She took a slow sip out of her drink,biting her straw lightly as she kept eye contact with him.

Giving her one last quick sly smile, Ruan whipped a kunai knife out of his cloak and pressed it against Nighshade's neck, pricking the skin. All of this happened faster than one could exhale. It was an incredible speed. In the dark corner, all of Ryder's emotions seemed to be drained from his face as he said coldly, "Don't move, Nightshade."

She smirked lightly as she looked to him lightly," Such a pity...I was having so much fun."
Her eyes gleamed in their golden color,flashing as a shadow came over her, Nightshade dissappearing. Quickly appearing right behind him, she whispered seductivly in his ear," You know we would have had so much fun..."
She exhaled a hot breath onto his neck,taking a quick moment and kissed him lightly on his neck. Then just as she had before,she dissappeared once again,appearing outside of the shop. Looking to the inside she smirked lightly,letting her whip fly out and wrap around one of the lights, preparing herself to escape.

Eyes widening in slight surprise, Ryder felt her presence behind him. He had shuddered involuntarily. After she had appeared outside the cafe, Ryder recovered and slung out his Jericho 941 pistol and aimed and fired at Nighshade. It all happened in a blur.

She had gotten grazed on the arm by the bullet,leaving a small wound on her arm. Cursing lightly she held her now bleeding wound, with a small sigh she looked back to him,giving him a small smile," Thank's for the love bite."
With that she winked at him then flew off into the buildings,dissappearing one she was safe in the shadows.

Ryder kept his cold and unemotional gaze onto Nightshade. He didn't say a word. A bit of satisfaction trickled into him as he saw her wound. Instantly, Ryder lept forward, sprinting towards the door. He burst out onto the street and looked up, barely seeing Nightshade zooming off into the night. Suddenly, his eyes turned crimson again and he had a look of extreme focus on him. He glanced around, using his cybernetic eye's night vision to track her movements. Ryder then clicked his fingers together, activating his gravity manipulator. He ran up the side of a building, trying to keep track of Nighshade.

Nightshade continued to jump between buildings,heading twords her bike, her eyes glowing gold as her Shadow creatures warned her that he was still following her.
She sighed," Fine....I'll take care of it."
letting a single finger drench in her own blood from her wound,she murmured a quick spell. Landing right onto the street below her,she drew a pentacle with her blood onto the street. Her whole body glowing as she did so,"Zathera kalen!"
With that the shadows around her surrounded her and engulfed her in a large dome. Quickly sending her to the shadow realm, the shadows dissappated once she had dissappeared,leaving only her mark on the ground.

Ryder was able to lock on to Nighshade relatively well with his cybernetic eyes. Running as fast as he could, he started to run along the side of the building. Then, he leapt off of it and landed on the building Nightshade was just on. His speed didn't break. In a flash, Ryder saw Nightshade start her spell. He pushed off of the building towards her. One of his kunai daggers was raised above his head. Just when she had disappeared, Ryder landed solidly on the ground where she had just been, his knife embedded into the ground. "Dammit," he muttered. Slowly, Ryder's eyes returned to their normal Amber color and he stood up. One would not be able to tell what his emotions were by reading his face. Ryder glanced back down at Nighshade's insignia. In a violent blur, he slashed the ground with the insignia on it with his kunai, leaving a diagonal scar across the symbol. Slowly, Ryder started walking towards the garage that the Swordfish II was in.
