I met Avril once, the place where escapes me now because I was drunk. What I do remember is this. She was arrogant, obnoxious and bitchy. One: She can't play guitar for the life of her. Two: She can't sing. I'd rather listen to a cat stuck under a cat tire at point blank range. Finally: Mostly the band does the song writing she adds the lyrics at the ends. Don't get me wrong, I've heard both albums(My Ex-girlfriend loved avril) and loathe her music completely.

Her music is great in my opinion. I think that's what matters most. I have both her main albums: Let Go and Under My Skin

Avril used to be one of my favourite artists ever, from the first time I heard her when I was 11 or 12. But now she has become a total sellout, she has never ever done a full Canadian tour, even though she is Canadian. Also, you can barely access anything on her official website without buying a membership for $30. confused

Sorry to pop your bubble but umm... when she hit MTV and the mainstream record label, that is when she sold out. She hasn't sold out any more than MCR or FOB. As for the touring thing... it might be because I dunno... she wouldn't profit off of it enough to maybe pay the rent like every other artist? though she did just get married. *shrugs* But that was like a week ago I think

Hate the blonde hair. Looks like Hilary Duff and now Lindsay Lohan (what happened to her pretty red hair? gonk ) Like her music, though. I own one of her albums.

CryingWalrus Eh, I wouldn't call her a poser or anything, because she admitted she wasn't punk, you ignorant people. stare Anyways, I personally don't like her music, but she does have a good voice. I won't disagree with that. Actully she did say she was a punk. I can't stand her, I used to like her, but that was when I was 9. I hate how she claimed to be punk, and she said that she was the Sid Vicous for the next genoration. Pftt, yeah right.
