Ok I LOVED THE BOOKS.. Currently in the middle of eldest and cannot wait for the last one. I have something to say about the whole movie thing. Eragon was a good movie. I did like it but the book is 1000% better than the movie. It only followed a few things in the book and went way off on a lot exp. the ending. I have no clue if they do make eldest a movie how they will tie it to the book. but i bet it will be good. You deffinatly cannot compaire the two or you will be let down. But both good in their own rights.

I'd love to kno how they're planning to make a 2nd movie-they changed the end, so it's going to be a horrible movie in my opinion.

my manager @ work was talkin about the same thing: ppl who didnt read the book thought the movie rocked! ppl who read the book (myself included) knew the movie sucked. *sigh* oh well. the best we can do is just not watch the movie(s) again. ^^

I am always shocked when I watch a movie based on a book that I've previously read. It truly amazes me how the movie producers come up with some of this stuff!! There are VERY few that are even remotely similar to the books, and Eragon was by far one of the worst. I think the only similarity between the book and the movie is the name of the characters...lol... The 2nd worst was prolly Jurassic Park...
