*The sun was still fairly high up in the sky as Freebird thought to herself* it can't be much past noon..I hope I won't have to stay up in the mountains tonight, the last time I was on mountains I was just a filly, but two years old and with my dam, even with her for warmth it ws still too cold

(OOC) @aria, nope..never too late to join..we seem to have an awful lot of stallions (and one colt) on the island..i feel a little out of place playing the only mare here xp

*Freebird looked back, remembering the dark forest* yeah, there might just be ocean behind those mountains, it would be a shame to travel that far for nothing I suppose *Freebird followed in the other direction, into the forest and paused just a moment to look back at the mountains, now wondering exactly what lay after them.*

status of life: She could be considered a herd member, but none the less she definately takes the 'alpha mare' spot. XD
territory: forest areas, though she is quite fond of racing around in the sand at the beaches.

Shea is a sweety, if you stay out of her way and let her be in charge. She's quite willing to do most anything, but she isn't too fond of mountains, it's probably because of all the weird noises that the wind makes if you go too high up.
And she really, really likes to roll. But only in dry sand and dirt. She's not too fond of the feeling of mud and wet sand on her coat unless it's really hot out, because then she doesn't mind so much.

OOC: Oh man, now I feel bad! Want me to change it?
BIC: Rahnyn cantered swiftly down his lookout cliff and disappeared into the forest. The moonlight shone on his beautiful coat as he galloped along, ducking branches and leaping smoothly over logs. Soon he came to a small river where he cantered through, sending up large splashes that dappled is coat in droplets. Rahn let out a piercing whinny as he shot out of the forest and onto the beach, enjoying his midnight run. Now the moon was full, and Rahn looked like the moon itself running upon the sand.

(OOC) i dont know if anybody else noticed this, but the island kinda looks like a game controller, like for a playstation 2 or something..it started out to be two seperate islands, but i decided that it would be better for it to be one big island

((OOC: I was the FIRST stallion, so I totally don't count. I would've joined a mare if there were already a billion stallions, but I never got the chance to play with Faolan, so I wanted to use him. Also, this is going to be a ridiculously short, crappy post because he's not interacting with someone and I have nothing to say smile ))
Faolan continues wandering around in the forest, aimless, but satisfied; there is vegetation here, and he has no problem snatching at it along the way. Oh, yes, life is a buffet, they say -- it's a mild, lethargic afternoon, and what better thing could he have to do than eat?
He once again hears rustling around in the edge of the forest, but ignores it. No use bothering to chase after anyone else now...

(OOC) @Aria, you should pay attention to some of the posts before your own, according to the events after you're post, the sun suddenly set in the middle of the afternoon xp which is kindof funny (at least to me)

Shea trotted contentedly through the trees, ears perked forwards and her head up, clearly in a good mood for once. Her step was light and springy as she moved through the trees (rather loudly, though she was in too good of a mood to realize this). She slowed to a walk as she decided that the bush ahead of her was THE bush. Those leaves looked absolutely scrumptious!
Happily taking a bite from the bush, the mare looks around as she chewed, realizing that she was virtually alone. Her ears flicked back a little as she became alarmed, letting out a loud whinney and pawing at the ground. Where was everybody? Shea wasn't too fond of being all by herself, because when she was alone she couldn't really boss anybody around. Even though she did have this absolutely delicious bush to snack on...
(okay. XD now Shea needs a herd to be a part of.)
