I would have to say Ceres. The beginning is good, but it's just drama after drama.

kawaiitanpopo Ceres. Nothing special there. Can you give more details on why there was nothing special about it?

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but fushigi yugi. Considering that all of Yu Watase's works are brilliant and that none of them can truly be "bad", Fushigi Yugi just falls short for me.... Its a little too predictable for my tastes. But its still an excellent series... I just like the other ones better. ( i personally love ceres, but thats just me)

I''ve read all of Alice 19th, 1-6 of CERES: Celestial Legend, and 1-2 of Fushigi Yugi. I''d say Fushigi Yugi is my least favorite. I don''t totally dislike it, it''s just not my most favorite.
I gotta say, they all remind me of stuff. Alice 19th reminds me of the book A Wrinkle In Time by Madeleine L''Engle; Fushigi Yugi reminds me of The Neverending Story by Michael Ende; and CERES: Celestial Legend reminds me of the TV series'' Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.

Alice 19th. The story was kinda weak, and the begginning stank. But the art- I hated the art in too many ways to describe.

You hated the art in Alice 19th? How did you manage to do this? In my opinion, her art was awesome in it! The inner hearts were simply incredible! What was wrong with Alice 19th?

eek What Takiko-chan said. I mean, I know I put down Alice 19th for volumes 4-7 but through the whole series the art was beautiful, as it always is with Sensei.

Seriously, how can you hate any of Watase-sama's artwork?! It is all gorgeous! I guess I can see your points about Ceres, but it's still my favorite of Watase-sama's stories. Whether it is just because Aya is so hot is yet to be determined... But for me, her worst series is (so far...) Genbu Kaiden. It just seems too rushed, as I described in the Genbu Kaiden thread.

i'd say fushigi yugi. i got tired of miaka and the storyline seemed to be tacking forever. i would say ceres after that. i like it, but it gets kinda boring and long in some parts (but that's just my opinion). reasons why i might dislike any of yuu watase's work: complicated or too long storyline or annoying characters (miaka mainly). but her work is so gorgeous!!!!!!!! heart heart
