Bacillus Anthracis I like alternative rock. In other words, bands you probably haven't heard of.
Like Death Cab for Cutie, Angels and Airwaves, Lost Prophets, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Mew, etc. Like all the bands you have mentioned. Do you like anything more aggresive? You may be missing out on some good bands....

i like.... let's see... rock (commercial rock, short songs, good lyrics, no solo's that last more than 1 minute).. j-rock (same rules), pop, dance, dancehall, r&b, hip-hop, blues, house, country, latino... i'll listen to anything that i find interesting, i don't care about the genre 3nodding
depending on my mood i can go from antonio vivaldi to marylin manson

It's gotta be rock, metal, or alternative stuff. Some fave's of mine are He Is Legend, Metallica, Underoath, Red, Iron Maiden, Bullet For My Valentine. And god knows how many others.

More aggressive? Hah. I like my music soft (in quality, not in volume), quiet (this IS volume), introspective, and occasionally goofy. That generally equates to slower songs, acoustic versions when I can get them, and bands carried on the quality of a single member in many cases (i.e. lead singer/guitarist who could manage to go solo with prettyness of sound but doesn't).
I've listened to a lot of Elton John lately... As well as some Iron and Wine.
