Story: Hoshiko was born on July 7th 1990 in Nagoya City. Her family was failrly well off, not to many finacial problems. She was never spoiled by her parents and was taught to be strong willed and to take care of herself. This was put to the test on her 12th birthday...
Her parents and her were driving out to the counrtyside for a weekend getaway; but their car went off a cliff. Both her parents died instantly, she survived with only a few minor injuries.
Because she had no other family, she was sent to a local Orphanage in Nagoya but soon ranaway. She lived on the streets of Nagoya for a long time and worked really hard at small jobs around the city. Soon she had raised enough money to travel to Tokyo.
She bought a small apartment in the "Bad Side" of Tokyo with the last of her money, and found jobs at local restaurants and stores near her. She then started to think about her life and what she wanted. She wanted to get a good education and become a teacher, that was her childhood dream, but that was not possible at the moment in her life. She was 13, and had not attended school in a year, even if she did start school again, it would be hard work. She needed food and other necesities and she could not possible Work and study hard enough to catch up.
She decided not to attend school, but her co-workers taught her many things that she would have normaly learned in school. She got books from the local library often and enjoyed reading more and more.
Two years passed since her comming to Tokyo. Hoshiko had learned many things. She was reading at a University Level, her Mathmatic Skills were in good shape, she was able to speak English almost fluently and she knows quite a bit of French. All in all, she was smart beyond her years. Aside from school smarts she learned to survive on her own and not to rely on others for things she needed. She had heard about a boarding school nearby and looked into it. She wanted to attened it dearly. She studied extra hard untill spring and took the entrance exam and passed with flying colours. You could not even tell she had not attended school in over three years!
Soon enough, it came time for her to go to St. Miators. She sold her house and quite her jobs, ready to start her new life on Astrea Hill.
