A smirk spread across Sei's face as he grinned at her. "I was kidding too. Aren't I a good actor?" And then he fell silent, waiting to see what she was about to yell out, because she definitely seemed about to do so. He stood up straight and smirked when he heard what she was saying. It soon spread back into a grin as he chuckled, striking a few poses as he helped her show off his 'hot body' for the many people who were staring in confusion. He laughed aloud at the cheering, and then looked down at Mel, nodding his head. "Yes, very."

"Good!" she replied back grinning as she looked up at him and then stood on her toes. Although she was taller than most, she still had issues and wasn't taller than Sei. She tugged on his hat slightly as she postioned it better so she could look into his bright blue eyes. She stared for a minute, distracted as a blush rose to her cheeks again and she didn't dare lean forward. She insted dropped back down to the ground and was promptly shoved forward by people behind them who were growing impatient at her. "Ow!" she said as she shot them a mean look, or at least the best she could give before stepping forward.
She twisted slightly in place as she waited impatiently for the line to hurry up and her rate to drop back down again. She actually put a finger to her wrist quietly as she felt it, and gave a sigh of relife when it was back its regular beat.

Sei grinned right back, but paused for a moment when she began staring at him. His expression turned slightly curious as he watched her, until she finally dropped back, only to be shoved by the group behind them. They were probably still sore about being beaten back to the line. So Sei saw the look Mel gave them, and then gave one of his own. He took on an entirely different personality when he did. If looks could kill, they would've dropped dead on the spot. It was the same look he'd given the boy who'd killed him time and time again. And, as quickly as it had come, it faded, the grin back as he smiled at Mel.

Mel finally walked forward towards the ride when it was their turn, she latched onto Sei's hand pulling him forward with a tug. She blinked as she sat down in the front, they were almost the last ones for that turn, but then at the last minute the family came on. Mel hung her head slightly as she strapped herself in next to Sei, her hand fading away from his. She gave him a michevious look though as if to say 'let's scare them' with her eyes. She kind of just wanted to do it with him, but she couldn't really do much but watch since she wasn't a ghost. She kept reminding herself of that and getting slightly depressed each time, she just really wanted to be one for some reason suddenly.

Sei allowed her to lead him forward to the ride, glad she hadn't freaked out about the expression he'd just made, and hoping she hadn't seen at all. He settled down beside her, frowning slightly when they got in the very front. But, nothing else was left so they had no choice. He caught her expression though, and blinked, slightly confused. Scare who, the people who'd bumped her? Or the ones who'd gotten the better seats? Either way, he had quite a gruesome plot forming in his head, but it'd cause him to miss part of the ride. Did this coaster have any loops in it...?

Mel looked back to see the family again, but this time there was a little girl, probley too small to be seen in line. She had really big and inoccent chocolate brown eyes, and when Mel turned back to Sei, her own eyes were almost that big. She got really pathetic when it came to little kids "N-Nevermind" she stuttered out, a blush across her cheeks at her actions. The ride started up and Mel held on firmly to the seat as she tried to not yell, she knew that was the point of the ride, but she knew that Sei wouldn't yell. It was like a contest that she had set up without saying anything to him, she wanted to see if she would last. There were several loops and very sharp drops so that was doubtfull she thought as they climbed the top of a 'hill'.

Sei glanced down as well, also catching sight of the little girl. He chuckled, instantly piecing together what'd changed her mind. "Fine," he agreed easily. "No tricks, for now." It actually might have been a little dangerous to try, and some people might've had a heart attack. So.. it was probably better he just followed the rules for at least this one right. He began rocking very slightly in place as they started going up the hill, leaning as far out to the side as the straps would let him, just gazing out over the park. He almost seemed fearless at times, but maybe that was because he was dead. He couldn't die again, right?

Mel either seemed unable to realize that he couldn't die twice, or just didn't want to risk it. She quickly grabbed onto his arm pulling him back over to her side, a little bit too much, and she actually came undone from her seat belt in the process. This might have been okay, but she had grabbed onto him, and pulled him backwards so far that now only half of her body was still in the ride. Her eyes went wide was possiable with fear, and then instantly shut with a scream as she could feel them reaching the top. She didn't have time to respond or act, and she just lay there, riding off to her doom. She probley could have acted, but she was paralazed with fear, and had also temporarly gone deaf it seemed, possiably even blind with fear.

Sei blinked when he felt her grab him, and glanced towards her curiously, not sure why she had. But then he realized she'd pulled too hard, it seemed, and she was tilting dangerously far backwards. Unlike him, if she fell from this height, she definitely would not come out unharmed. So his eyes widened in alarm, especially when he also realized she'd somehow slipped out of her seatbelt.
He wasted no time before unclipping his too and grabbing her tightly to himself. When they suddenly plummeted down the hill, the two rose up and out of their seats, eventually leaving the cart altogether. Needless to say, the people in the seats behind them were scared out of their wits as well. But Sei looked perfectly calm now, eyes no longer wide. In fact, they were closed. He simply hugged her to himself, and instead of falling to their doom, they simply floated there in mid air, just bobbing lightly up and down.

Mel had kept her eyes as shut as possiable, and was unable to do anything normal, hear, speak, see. Finally after a few minutes of intense silence, and realizing that she wasn't falling at any point. Very slowly, she opened up her eyes and stared at the ground below her, no longer seeing it get closer. She looked up and saw that she was being tightly gripped by Sei, and somehow they were floating. It wasn't until then that she felt the tears stopping, not sure when they had actually started. She clinged to Sei closer as she buired her head in his chest, trying to permantly get rid of the feeling of fear and sadness.
After a few more moments of silence she looked back up at him again, wiping off her tears with her one spare hand before replacing it to the tight grip. "Can you get us down?" she choked out softly as she wrapped her hands around his neck, afraid to leave him ever, but willing to let him have his hands free, or at least one.

Sei just floated there, eyes tightly shut as he focused completely upon keeping them both afloat. He'd kind of taken a gamble just now, since he'd never held anyone else up before. But, he didn't see why it wouldn't work, and luckily he was right and it had. He slowly opened his eyes, hearing her speak, and nodded his head. They slowly drifted downwards and a few minutes later, their feet hit the ground gently.
His grip slowly loosened from her, arms withdrawing slightly. One stayed comfortingly around her, while his other shifted upwards, wiping away her tears. "You ok?" he asked quietly, ignoring the many stares they were recieving.

Rain started to fall down upon her, it was light at first before becoming heavier, it wasn't that bad though. Well she was now soaking wet, but everyone around then was over-reacting when they ran away from the park, already headed towards their homes. She looked up at the sky for a minute, almost getting rain in her eyes, but just gave him a smile and nodded her head. She was still very close to him, much more so than either of them would normally let happen. She leaned in closer a bit, hugging him tighter with her hands still clasped around his neck. She hadn't ment to be so close to his lips when she said "Thank you" in a wisper to him, but she was. And she didn't move again, she just looked at his lips then back at him.

Sei stared down at her silently, blinking when the rain suddenly started. It hit him and he wrinkled his nose slightly, head tilting back as he stared. But, when she spoke, he glanced right back down at her, smiling as he nodded. "No problem," he replied softly, not realizing until after he'd done it, that he was so close that his lips brushed hers when he spoke. He paused after that, not really sure what he was doing. But one hand was still around her, and his other was now gently cupping her cheek.

Mel shut her eyes, she almost looked as if she was about to lean forward and kiss him, but she bit down on her lips and pulled away from him again. She...didn't want to kiss him right now, part of her felt like it wouldn't be right since he was a ghost, another wondered about Akane still, and the last part just didn't want to screw things up with him. She opened her eyes again as she snapped out of the daze she had been into for a while. She blinked as she looked around, seeing over half of the people retreat inside from the rain. She then turned back to him with a grin "Wanna look for some rides or something that are still open? Oh wait! Let's get something to eat" she said as she tugged on his hand tugging him away from the area that they had landed at. After almost dying, and then floating, high in mid-air, she was doing considerably well.

Sei leaned back as well, kind of glad the awkwardness had stopped. He blinked a couple times, and was about to ask if she thought any rides would be left open, when she completely changed her mind. He didn't mind though, or at least, he didn't show it. She'd said let's get something to eat, and that kind of tugged at something inside him, causing an almost depressed expression to flick across his face. But it passed in an instant as he trailed along behind her, nodding his head. "Ok," he agreed. "What do you want?"
