The best anime ever is Dragonball Z. If you say otherwise, you're lying and you know it. Stop lying, it's immoral.
I'm also a HUGE Gundam fan. If it's Gundam, I probably know about it. I'm a Mobile Suit guru, if you will. I know pretty much everything there is to know about series based on the UC one year war timeline and the CE SEED timeline (at least what I've been able to get my hands on in English). I also know G Gundam pretty well, but I hate it with a passion so I don't like talking about it, and I know AC (wing) pretty well, but it's been a long time and there's a lot I can't remember.
A couple more that are better than anything you listed in your poll:

Outlaw Star
Blue Sub 6
Tenchi
Sailor Moon (if you're a pervert)
Shin-chan (if you consider it anime, some may not)

Geez i dont even know any more dude... maybe kiki's delivery service i think that was the first one i watched... or maybe it was DBZ but i dont remember When my serious love of anime started.... perhaps when that was what was on TV when i got home. no i believe it was before that cardcaptors and pokemon im willin to bet though...

I got started on anime by Digimon. Such an old school anime. So much like Pokemon. But still different. My favorites now include Bleach, Trinity Blood, Hellsing, Naruto Shippuden, and a few others.

Inuyasha Hellsing Full Metal Alchemist Gravitation Fruits Baskets Bleach Blood+ was pretty good Case Closed Vampire Hunter D Sailor moon Hell of a lot of manga, can't remember names. Yeah it was a little odd, but what good anime isn't? Remember Paranoia agent, that s**t was druggy. You had to be high to understand it, no lie me and my brother sat through an entire episode then turned to each other and said: ...WTF just happened?

i am developing quite the list of anime actually:
Bleach(up to japans airing)
Blood+
Fruits basket
naruto (including shippuden)
watched some of hellsing
D.grayman
Deathnote was ok
FMA
InuYasha
there is actually a devil may cry anime too (i think there was only like one or two episodes though).
Basically what ever me and my friend stumble across whilst waiting for new episodes of bleach and naruto shippuden which may end up causing my list to grow

FMA, definately.
G Gundam was flippin' awesome! Shreaking the Shining Finger quote is fun. Gundam Wing was better, though, I think. >.<; HeavyArms for the win. Shenlong's a close second. Then Epyon. 08th MS Team was pretty cool, too. But that's about the extent of my Gundam knowledge! D:
The Meloncholy (err.... sp?) of Haruhi Suzumiya's cool, but I've not finished watching all of it... same with Ouran...
Umm... Sorcerous Slayer Orphen! >.> Second season... never saw the first.

Not so big a fan of Naruto... >.>; The way they did episodes was annoying. They did a fifteen-minute recap of the previous episode before actually advancing the story. I got sick of that. Lee freakin' wins life, though.
Ehh, Inuyasha kinda died out for me. >.>; I never caught new episodes, and so I was constantly watching reruns.
The beginning of DBZ was awesome, back when 9000 was epic Power Level. Shortly after that, they were in the hundred-thousands and hundred millions? The crap? Vegeta and Nappa's appearance was the best part of the series.
Digimon Season 1. I think that was actually the first anime I ever watched. XD I even remember waking up early just to watch it.
Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop were epic.
And I'm trying to think of every anime I've ever seen to pile it all into one single post, and that's not gonna happen, I realize now. But it certainly got my mind off things I didn't particularly care to worry about, so it served it's purpose.
