MrLavender Is there something wrong with you?? The Hulk is unbeatable, no one has stopped the Hulk, and if I'm correct, Two-Face and The Joker have also beaten Batman. And there is no need to be rude, this is a civilized conversation and I would hate to report you for insulting me...... People are entitled to their own opinion, you think Batman will win, I think Iron Man would win, we're all entitled to our own opinion and theres no need for you to be a d**k. I don't need that bad mouthing from you, grow-up. For insulting you? WTF?! You want me to allow other to have thjeir own opinions and yet you are still arguing the point that the Hulk is better, saying that he is unstoppable and can't be beaten. And you want to talk about not letting people have their own opinions?

What is difference between the DC world and the Marvel world? I just figured that they were the same with just different character development. Am I right to assume that? I want to hear what a DC fan thinks.

I'm not stopping anyone from having their own opinion. I'm just telling you that you should read a Hulk comic. He's pretty much unstoppable. If you could tell me one person who has beaten the Hulk (other than a cosmic being) then this convo will be over. Other than that, I don't want to be arguing with a teenager.

There shouldn't be arguing with anyone. Look, you two are pushing each others' buttons in which it's allowing this to excelate. Don't push ideas into anyone's mind. He likes the Hulk, the other one likes Batman. Fine. Stop bickering and just enjoy the subforum.

The Hulk is an oooold comic, I've read a few of his comics, there used to be a Hulk CE, but someone at Panini cancelled it... stare I've read a bunch of Defenders comics though, and the Avengers comics he's appeared in. But in all of 50 odd years he's been around I'm sure he's bee stopped at least once... I found something, on his page at the wiki marvel database: "During the honeymoon, Bruce became gravely ill and was hospitalized. Due to his separation from the body of the Hulk, Bruce's body began to lose molecular cohesion. The Hulk's body soon followed suit and he was defeated by the Avengers. Realizing there was only one way to save her husband, Betty pleaded with the Avengers not to kill the Hulk. With the aid of the synthezoid Vision, Bruce was re-merged with the Hulk. With Bruce's psyche once more in the body of the Hulk, the original Hulk persona assumed control of the body. However the reintegration was unstable and an attempt to stabilize and possibly cure Bruce resulted in the Hulk returning to his original grey color and Rick Jones being cursed to become a Hulk-like creature for a short time. " He was ill when it happened but they beat him. That was all I could find, but surely that can't be the only time.

That was a special case. Only way to beat him is through Banner

dhoffryn, you should cut and paste this stuff into a new thread called the Hulk and Ironman. lol. I am sorry that I started spouting Marvel characters at your DC thread. I am to blame. gonk I did it! I am sorry. Just shackle me up and throw away the key......but I'll find it.
Interesting though how Hulk was defeated only when he was finally separated from his creator. I guess with a separation like that, one cannot determine which cells will be transfered into what body.

MrLavender Special case, doesnt count. Going through Banner to beat the Hulk, is not beating the Hulk. The Hulk is just a manifestation of Banner's fractured psyche. So, technically, it is beating the Hulk. Anyways, which Hulk are we talking about? Just regular ol' Green Jeans or one of the others? Cause some of the others are easier to beat. Like Joe Fixit, his strength doesn't increase with his anger. I don't know about Professor Hulk, he has all of Banner's intelligence, maybe he'd be hardest... Savage Hulk would be a problem, and so would Devil Hulk... I've never seen him in the comics but I hear he's the baddest of the big green bads.

No. I mean beating the Hulk one on one, without going through Banner. It doen't count because the Hulk wasn't the Hulk without Banner, he was just a giant green thing. And Professor Hulk sucks. He got beat by Superman in the Marvel Dc crossoveer. If it was savage, he could have mopped the floor with him.
