short pixie complex_ity_ Jacob resents Edward because he left Bella, but was accepted without question when he came back. Plus, Jacob has a crush on Bella himself. As far I know, Twilight and New Moon are Stephenie's first published works. The flower on the New Moon cover is a ruffled tulip. isnt also because of the smells the two have? The werewolves and vampires dislike each other's smells. But that isn't why they hate each other - it's just an additional thing.

XxfushigipinayxX Okay, I have a question!
Does anybody else find it odd that no one harrasses the Cullens about their eye color? I mean, you think someone would find it odd that their eyes are such abnormal color...It's not everyday you see people with yellow eyes (though I did today because my friend came up to me with his new contacts he's gonna use to cosplay at an upcoming anime convention and his character has yellow, cat-like eyes...it was kind of scary on him, nothing Cullen-like).
So yeah, I'm assuming Forkians already got used to it, but I wonder why it was never a major question for Bella. And why they didn't just get contacts. And how they explain it if people do ask. im guessing on this... but wouldnt it be exactly like what bella said/thought after she almost got ran over? she said that no one ever paid attention to them as much as she did... thats the best i got....sry if it doesnt help.... but its just my guess...

in one of the excerpts from twilight or new moon(cant remeber) why do emmet and rosalie have a bed? they dont sleep so could really only use it for hanky-panky and then the entire family could hear (ew) so they would need to go to a hotel or something for some privacy... then again stephenie hadnt exactly edited this section yet...

Yes, the bed is just for sex. The Cullens try their best to give each other privacy, but hey, technically they're all married (besides Edward). I don't think Rosalie and Emmett would check into a hotel every time they want to...you know. Most likely Emmett and Rosalie would just wait until a day the rest of the Cullens are out. And the same goes for Alice and Jasper, and Carlisle and Esme. redface

So, the whole Vampires-not-having-blood topic officially has me weeping.
If Bella becomes a vampire, doesn't that mean that Edward will lose some of his, uh, desire for her?
I mean, he must love her for the individual she is, but he is constantly telling her how beautiful her blush is, and he listens to her hearbeat all the time! (Speeding up because of him... whee )
So maybe a part of the reason he doesn't want her changed is because he might fall out of love with her?

Dorkfishy So, the whole Vampires-not-having-blood topic officially has me weeping. If Bella becomes a vampire, doesn't that mean that Edward will lose some of his, uh, desire for her? I mean, he must love her for the individual she is, but he is constantly telling her how beautiful her blush is, and he listens to her hearbeat all the time! (Speeding up because of him... whee ) So maybe a part of the reason he doesn't want her changed is because he might fall out of love with her? neutral
No. Edward does love her human traits, but his sole concern is how she'd never have the opportunity to fully live out her life, have babies, grow old with grandkids, and all that like a normal human. Maybe he's afraid she'd regret it the way Rosalie does.
Also, he wouldn't exactly lose his desire. In fact, he'd be quite happy due to the fact that he doesn't have to hold back his passion for her. Right now, he isn't kidding when he says she's incredibly breakable. One touch and BAM!! She'd never even see it coming x__x
No...the man he is, I'm sure Edward will be more than ecstatic on their Bella's first night as a vampire >__>

I also have a question, though I doubt anyone can answer it. But does anyone know if they'll translate the Japanese Twilight manga volumes? I know it would be kind of pointless, translating an original English novel...... But I'm a manga freak. And since I have yet to learn to read Japanese (boo-hoo. emo ) I was wondering if someone in America with a lot of time on their hands would go through and edit and everything, turning it back to English so all the manga freaks could have the books perched up on the shelf next to Stephenie's English Twilight........
Stupid question. Like anyone would do that. It would be nice, though......*Drifts off in own world.*

That's why I say just order the Japanese version online (or if you end up going to Japan, buy it) and keep it next to your English copy -shrugs-

(and does that mean Victoria could have powers over her too?
