i was going through my music and found a peice that i havent played for a while and it doesnt actually suck horribly! (im really really picky about what i play)

I played The Swan (saint saens) at my first solo and ensamble, I played Minuet and the Dance of the Blessed Spirits at my third solo and ensamble, and I think this year, I am going to do one of Handels Sonatas. I forget what I played my 2nd year. All I remember was that I got a 1 on it.

I'm currently preparing Andante et Scherzo by Louis Ganne for an audition.
Can any of you guys recommend any pieces that are like, ominous and scary, because almost all of the flute repertoire isn't like that, and i'm tired of the same old thing over and over again.

Widor's Op. 34 Suite for flute and piano. The third movement - Romance- is the best.

In 2.5 weeks I have to do my flute exam. I'm very tence about it! I'm playing "Density" from Varese, "triosonate" (with my sister on the violin) from Carl Philip Emanuel Bach an "14 pieces" from Koechlin. I really love all the pieces!!!

I've played Gavotte, too! Fun song. There are more songs but I can only remember one right now.

My teacher had me do some sight reading to practice for college auditions and I played andante by mozart. Very pretty peice. I like mozarts music! heart
