Kat smiled and looked at all of them, there were bunnies, birds, even what seemed like a maned wolf puppy. "Ekene, can I ask you something?" she said softly. Looked at him, then back up at the sky, "When the stars are out, do you ever feel like...your not alone?" she was just curious. The stars made her think of her family watching over her. It made her calm in the middle of the night, whenever she would awake from a nightmare.

Ekene thought for a minute. Sometimes when the stars were out he did feel safer and not so alone. "Yes...at least not as alone." he answered gently. He smiled and layed back to look at the clouds more. "That one looks really weird!" he said pointing to a deformed cloud with a laugh.

Kat lay on her back as well, just peering up at the sky. It was already starting to show hints of pink amongst the blue, the sun was setting. She sighed, tomorrow was another day, perhaps tomorrow she would decide on where she should go.
Yes, maybe tomorrow.

He looked at her then carefully scooted a bit closer. As the sun set he felt himself getting a bit tired. Soon the bright sun was down and he found himself staring at the stars. Though it was still very warm, the burning of the sun had left and he was now quite content.

Kat yawned as the sun disappeared. She hadn't slept well the night before. She should probably head back to her little spot in the underbrush near the tree not far from here. Kat stood up and stretched, and looked to Ekene and smiled. "I should be heading back to my little nest (if she could even call it that), might I come try and find you again Ekene? Will you be out here for a while, or might you try to head somewhere where I may find you?"

Ekene shrugged. "I think i'll stay here longer and try to find somewhere to sleep. I'm sure we'll see each other again tomorrow." he said with a huge and loud yawn. He looked around him for somewhere to sleep. Off in the distance not too far away was a huge boulder. He looked at Kat. "Good night!" he said and then took off towards the boulder. When he reached it he found that it was not as big as it looked...but it seemed big enough so he layed down beside it and closed his eyes waiting for sleep to take him.

She smiled at him and then watched as he ran off. She laughed and shook her head, he was an interesting one he was. She padded towards her secret place, nestled herself between the branches and leaves of the bushes and closed her eyes. The stars were above her, and she could've sworn she felt her sister lay next to her as well.
Things were seeming to get better.
