Celebrimbor Carnistir She might be my mother, but she still left. Have you considered that maybe she left because Grandfather was quite out of his head? Father was not the only one she left. --; And if he was out of his head then, it only got worse after she did! I don't care if she had every reason in the world to leave him. If she comes in here, expecting us to forgive her just because she deigns us with her presence, without so much as an "I'm sorry", then I would rather have nothing to do with it. Anyway, it doesn't seem to matter. neutral I am sure she'll be too busy coddling the good sons to care much about the others.

Amarie Vanyariel Arafinwe Ingalaure It is possible for us to never speak of that again? I suppose it is ending in a way, but we are not returning to the place we forsook, so maybe it hasn't ended. Either way... did you get yourselves a new King in my absence? Indeed it is so good to see you my lord! We have been waiting for your return most eagerly. O my lovely daughter in law! How pleased I feel to see you have been waiting for us all this time. My son owes you an apology, I believe. (or something? i dont remember how we worked it out... werent you pregnant? lol)Still King? xp Gaah. I thought you would all jump on the occasion and start a civil war or something like that... Sigh. I guess I just can't get out of this position, can I? I'll go make my own House thread. I don't want to abuse the hospitality (?) of the House of Feanaro, though he is not here.

We can be hospitable, Uncle. Carnistir Celebrimbor He sounds more and more like Atar every second that passes. gonk stare So if I am thrilled to see her, I am one of the "good" sons, but if I am not ready to welcome her back with open arms, I am one of the "bad" ones? confused She might be my mother, but she still left. And here I had always thought it was the lot of us who ran off. confused

And neither did she. confused She foresook us on a hunch and came out lucky. That does not make her justified.

Having a "hunch", as thou sayest, Carnistir, was highly unnecessary after hearing your dreadful Oath. I should have joined ye, yes, and I'm sorry I did not. But I could not bear to watch ye destroy yourselves.

Carnistir ... Well, no. But... we did not know things would get that bad! Alqualonde should have provided enough of a clue as to how bad things could get. But speaking of mothers, I think I'm going to go try and find mine. I haven't seen her in an Age or three.

But I could not bear to watch ye destroy yourselves. Well, that is all I wanted to hear. neutral What's done is done, I suppose. It's pointless to argue about it now. I'm glad to see you well, mother. Celebrimbor Alqualonde should have provided enough of a clue as to how bad things could get. Could, nephew. *shrugs* Just because things could have gotten worse than that did not mean, as far as I knew, that they would.

I have to give you that, because if it's anything we have in common (other than blood) it's a serious case of Lack of Judgement.

Really? >3 I always thought that we were rather good at making Judgments. Not very wise ones, maybe...
But more importantly! Didn't I hear you say something about Naugrim beer just before, nephew?

Carnistir But more importantly! Didn't I hear you say something about Naugrim beer just before, nephew? Yes. Fortunately, my friend, Narvi, made more. I might be pursuaded to share. ninja It was a shame that none of you guys got to meet my Naugrim friends. They're quite clever!

Not a day passed without one troupe of Naugrim or another tramping through Thargelion, back in the day! I would hardly call any of those ugly fellows "friends", but their beer was more than passable. xd

Especially if Namo starts poking his nose in around here.
