(( In the darkness a pair of eyes blazed out at Dak and showed a sliver of a smile. There was a flash of spikes along the neck and a heated smoking breath was exhaled. He beamed at Dak and said in a most honest and equal mischief.


Greetings good Dak... there are no Shawns in my castle and anything that goes here is mote welcomly open to you, please....

He places what feels to be a firm gripped claw around Daks shoulder and neck and said

Do stay and show us the envious fire that simmers withen you. Theres more than enough room for another character and weve yet to find someone to play Rathma the werwolf overlord. I think theres every reason to stay and use your talents in this game. ))

It had been a good ten minutes now and the fortress was showing no major signs of activity. She had discovered four guards alone on tonight shift, but did that mean more security lay inside? The remaining three breathed against the chill wind and overlooked the land. One of the men on his perch had heard a rumbling noise echo through the woods earlier. He almost reported it as the sound of a large force of troops on the move but decided against botthering someone over nothing noticably loud. Soon the watch captain would come up to check all four posts. The old fool better do more rounds with so few men out tonight. But it was the fort commanders birthday and he invited everyone inside to celebrate. The guard began to drift off, dreaming of being in the warmth amongst the food. Meanwhile another guard was now missing from his post.

The guard looked back to her and tried to make out a face, the voice was human and womanly enough to give him courage to speak and he said in a low voice that twinged in pain as did his throat " Commanders birthday.. all inside for the party and.. uhh.. a large battalions out on patrol too.. gonna be back soon" Adding the last part, he hoped to enstill her with enough fear and hesitance to just leave and go away. The moon peaked out amongst the clouds and lit up the forest around and below them. Over the shaking mans shoulder, Kyra got a view from the moonlight that most girls only dream of sharing with a guy... just not a guy with a knife being held to him like this. It was almost comical in a way and Hadrien would have been sure to make a game of it had he been there. In the distance, Kyra saw a few large bats flying up the wall to the spot she once was in.

Five bats landed on the wall and four of them transformed into black masked people with red trimmed outfits. The assassins were to guard Kyra while the rest of the army began to charge up the mountainside. She as second in command and field commander was allowed to do as she pleased, whether it be staying here or going back to them. Either way, Hadrien was sure to keep her guarded at all times while in danger. The fith bat landed on her neck and crawled across her shoulder, its furr rubbing against her skin as it nestled into the base of her neck and looked about curiously.

As of yet the rumbling of her army was not heard, vampires even in mass with armor were silent creatures by nature. The bat clung against her neck as she began jumping about and peeked out at the sights as she moved. The party inside was typical of humans. Trash was piling up and bellies were going beyond full. Loud music accompanied by bad drunken singing was pouring out of the halls shamlessly and warm lighting that was annoyingly bright lit this scene. The commander sat at a wooden throne and observed it all, his fortess was made of stone and wood but this hal was bieutiful decorated in cruving wooden decor and the various pieces and panels were specificly darkened or brightened to give it extra beuaty. This was the kind of lodgeing most kings would envy and even the dinging table was lavishly carved out, the legs ending in dragons feet clasping orbs and matching seats. What a shame to muck up such a wonderful place.

The man stood up and looked out over the hall. If any of them were truly behind this then they were to drunk to care anymore. He took the girl by the arm and lead her into a chamber. The large bed and heavy decoration made this place out to be the master bedroom. A fourposterbed with deep red drapes was where he placed her. It was only ten he said while crossing his arms and standing firm backed to her " I am commander lesardo of the mountain boys north regiment, first in rank, of Propheans army miss... I have a wife and one son who will take my place one day and I do not intend to lose any of these things for a night of pleasure.. If you wish you can remain here but I must see to this fort now and Ive no intention of doing otherwise"

He spoke with a slight english accent and hada firm but not harsh voice. His eyes showed he missed his wife and would enjoy a womans company but no one elses except hers. Also he didnt seem the kind of man to allow rule breaking and the party outside must not have been as he intended it to go. The human obviously wanted to give his troops a break and things simply got out of hand.

The bat on her shoulders suddenly grew red eyed made a familiar smirk at her words. Suddenly it reached out and bit his neck from behind. He yelped at that, thinking it was her and did not yet see the tiny beast grinning from her shoulder. Giving the spot rubb he felt blood and said " If your that insistant I shall call upon somone for you, but another bite and Ill be sure to throw you in the cells and let anyone who wants you come in!" He was suddenly looking a bit nausious and went to sit on the bed and recover himself. Either he was having a damned hard time rejecting her or he was very sick and was hiding it before. The man was clearly strong willed but that often ment people of his mold would hide stress and illness until it overcame them.
