I hate all the losers in this guild who make fun of the fact people like mainstream bands/ people like bands they think aren't their idea of alternative or any other bitchy reason. Seriously, get over yourselves; if you're that pissed about it, go make your own guild where you can b***h.
There's nothing wrong with liking My Chemical Romance or the RHCP, just like there's nothing wrong with liking Camera Obscura and the Flaming Lips. The idea of a guild is to share music taste, not to b***h about how inferior someone is because they, God forbid, listen to Fall Out Boy. Some people are perfectly happy with the music that everyone has easy access to, rather than the less well-known groups which are great but sometimes difficult to track down.
Your idea of alternative is not everyone's idea of alternative. Alternative, in this guild, means music which vaires from ska to punk to rock to metal; this is often seen as an alternative to other genres of music which the majority of people today seem to listen to. Hence the word alternative.
I'm not saying it's wrong to only listen to the lesser-known bands, I'm just saying I'm sick of having to look at members put everyone else down by whining about how this guild is "lame" because most people don't know the bands you really like.
You don't have the right to moan about people because of their music taste. If you don't like most of the threads here, there's a choice; try and show people the bands you do like without putting their tatses down, or go moan about it somewhere else. Get over yourselves.
