Gaijin32 Say, those are actually really good scribblin's! Think you could draw my avvie? I don't think I've made him too complex so far, and I'm not gonna quest for all kinds of crazy accessories to layer on over what's here. Aside from a Pimpin' Cane (to match his RP weapon, a cane-sword) he's pretty much complete. I could try. But it'd take me a while since I'm starting to get busy with costume making for the upcoming anime convention in Oregon. ^_^;

Am sneaking onto computer again. stare
The Wydda drawing is pretty. ^^ And the evil fox-girl with evil kupo-monster on her head - Eville Shibuya, right.
Meh. Maybe I'll draw Natsumi one day, if I'm bored. Or my avvie, complete in all shirt-and-horrible-checkered-skirt glory.
The Ater drawing looks good. Like the face.

I bought one 'How to Draw Manga' book I opened it and read it once and then never again. They are not that helpful, I think anyways.
Which reminds me! I drew a couple pictures at work during my breaks, I will see if I can scan those now.

Nice job on the gun and clothes texture lines. Can't do those to save my life and therefore I cannot DRAW.
And I always mess up the eyes. May post more on Monday. Or something. Next Saturday = Natsumi pic, in Turk uniform. Exams end on Wednesday. ^^

 Since I'm such a bad girl, I skipped out studying Math and drew Aux instead. My,she looks so innocent and yet so much like a wanton at the same time. >.>

Evillusionized: O________________________O PRETTY in a wanton-y way. Seems that Aux has gotten a fashion update since the days of her application form. And the shading's good, what do you mean you didn't. Overall, very nicely done. [The drawing style reminds me of That Niimura Girl. You know, that one pic with the chains.]
To All: Public service question for all artists or artists-in-training: How does everyone here DO the hair? And the texture lines on the clothes ... Those tutorials I read online, they suck.

Those're always hard, aren't they? The way I learned was just, grabbed a few different manga by a few different artists, and sketched out the way each artist did the hair, and how they did the folds in the clothing. A lot of it, too, is having a natural feel for the physics of things, too... But just practice at it, try out some different styles, and see what works for you.

I would like to post some of my art up 3nodding
and err...How To Draw Manga books aren't useless! >.< It helped alot in my drawings. You just gotta know which ones to buy 3nodding hair and eyes are my favourite @_@ clothes have always been a problem for meh sweatdrop

Here are some of my drawings. I don't have a scanner so I used a camera to take a pic of it. Therefore, the pics are a real mess and they appear blurry and shiny.  I tried fixing this one...still looks like a mess but I like it nonetheless.
