"Listen girl! Shut up and think straight! You want to be treated like an equal right?! Then share in an intellegent conversation!! Women are able to manipulate men with ease threw being seductive! That is YOUR fault as a woman! OUR fault as men is that we give into the animalistic desires! Yes women ARE evil but so ARE men! Both sex's are evil! And world peace is nothing but a child's dream!!"
Laures found that he had stood up off his bed and started yelling at the young girl. He blinked as he noticed his voice and calmed himself down before continuing.
"If you want to be treated like an equal thats fine..But you better start acting like an equal if you want that treatment."

It was so automatic she didn't notice herself doing it, but Megan curled up into a defensive position as Laures yelled at her. After he had stopped, she didn't move. Instead, the small girl started to cry, sobs shaking her small frame.

Laures eyes shot open as he heard the girl crying..definatly..not something he had wanted to do.
"Eh..Shh..Shh its alright! I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell!"
Laures didn't know what to do. He saw her shaking and crying..he didn't like it. Laures crawled onto Megan's bed and wrapped his arms around the small girl. Setting her on his lap as he hugged her. Trying desperatly to calm her down.
"Eh..come on..I didn't mean to yell..."

Megan sniffled. She had to stop crying, nothing was wrong! She was safe, no one was going to hurt her here. Oh no! He was hugging her. Megan didn't want to play the helpless, crying female, but for once it was okay. Her breathing steadied and the tears stopped.

Laures let a soft sigh escape from his lips as he noticed she stoped crying. He turned and slowly took his arms away from her and looked down at her.
"Um..You alright..your not gonna cry again are you?"

She smiled and looked up at him gratefully. She felt almost like a little sister, even though she had never been one before. "No," she said, wiping away her remaining tears. "I...I think I'm okay now."

"Uh..good..sorry..about that.."
Laures rubbed the back of his neck before he stood up and headed over to his bed again. Jumping on it. As he did he could feel the bed moving. And he sighed softly.

Megan could almost feel the awkwardness in the air. She felt she owed Laures some fraction of an explanation, but none came to mind. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to start crying. Old habits are hard to break, y'know?"

Laures just spoke softly as he went back to watching his tv.
"Its fine. I actually forgot about what you said before. Besides I'm the one that yelled at you."
That was all he said as he continued to watch the TV.

Megan didn't feel like watching TV, she wasn't a materialistic person anyway. So she wrapped her sheets around herself and softly hummed the song she had heard earlier that day in the music room. She resolved to go back there the next day. With that thought, sleep took hold and she fell into slumber.

Megan awoke bright and early the next morning. She got dressed quickly and headed out to the music room, leaving a note for Laures.

Laures woke up the next morning and pushed himself up in bed. Getting dressed in a long white dress shirt and a pair of jeans he noticed megan wasn't around. He looked over and found the note and picked it up.
"Music room eh? Alright then..might have to drop by later."

Megan entered the dorm room, expecting to find Laures there. He wasn't, and so she threw herself on the bed, preparing herself. Fact, she thought. Laures hates Gabriel. I'm not sure why, but I will find out. Fact two, it is unacceptable for him to do that to Gabe, for any reason. Fact three, I will have to confront him about these things. She hated to admit it to herself, but Megan was a bit scared of Laures, and she dreaded having to talk to him. Nonetheless, it had to be done.

Laures stepped into the dorm room soon after Megan. He turned his head sharply towards her and looked at her.
"You should have stayed out of my way. Next time make sure you do so!"
Laures stepped over to his bed and took a seat on it. Grabbing a towel from his duffle bag he began to wipe the sweat from his face.
