EladrinStarmist Is it true that animals are easier to catch on Safari Zone if you throw rocks at them? I'm having a heck of a time catching anything... sad This is true, hitting them with a rock makes them easier to catch, but also increases the flee rate. using bait decreases the catch rate, and decreases the flee rate. I got so fed up with the Safair zone that I would use rocks and balls only.

But seriously, I hate it when you throw the ball in the Safari Zone and it says-- "Heracross evaded the ball!" Or something like that. HOW THE BLEEPING BLEEP DOES IT DO THAT?! JEEBUS BLEEPING CHRIST! Ahem, but seriously. It's annoying.

I know a cheat that I have tried and it worked! I haven't done this in a very long time, so...yeah. You can catch Poke'mon easier from the Safari Zone! It's for the Red and Blue versions only.
Go to Safari Zone. I can't remember if it's necessary to stay there the whole time, but I don't think so. Exit out of there, travel South out of Fuschia City and Surf West to the West shore of Seafoam Island. Now Surf up and down the island and there you go.

Mikallen LEIK, OMG! I HERD THAT THERE WUZ A TRUCK IN RED< THAT HAD A MEYW IN IT IF YOU YOOSED STREGH ON ET! ... blaugh This is an actual cheat programmed into the game...that was removed with the english release scream . they also removed the reward system, where they give you an ultra pokemon, aka mew, for completing the pokedex. The truck is there if you look for it, but you cant move it. crying

What model is it? ninja Seeing as the game was made in 1994 and released in 1996, I would have to say Toyota xp i think it was a dodge ninja

Airelesanya Dark Holy Willow You all will never believe the code that I found last night. Okay, so I'm browsing around different Pokemon sites and whatnot. I click on a link and I'm brought to a site that has about a million Action Replay codes for Emerald. I was looking through them and I spotted one of them that said it was possible to steal Pokemon from the Battle Factory. Yes, you read right-- those beautiful level 50 and level 100 Pokemon are yours for the taking. (I would make an amazing member of Team Rocket. sweatdrop ) I can say that I've tried this, and it works perfectly; it does not mess up your game in the least. The only thing that stinks about this code is that while you do get to steal the Pokemon, you don't get their Pokedex data; however, breeding could solve that problem. If you have an Action Replay and want to know how to perform this code, PM me. Wow, that is quite the nifty code! I sometimes used the 'steal' cheat in Red and Blue when I was completely bored - it lets you play the game in a whole new light - as a pilfering member of Team Rocket! ninja Ohhh... What's that steal cheat thingy? ninja

Twisted Angel of Darkness Trick This is a glitch to get as many nuggets as you want in FR/FG, also it works for R/B/Y. Well anywho, on route 24 above Cerulean City there are 5 trainers that make up the nugget bridge. Once you beat them, do not talk to the 6th guy who will give you the nugget, instead go back to Cerulean City put all you pokemon in a box get a weak pokemon like Magicarp or low-level pidgey. Also, if you have a half-decent ammount of money go buy lots of super potions or pokeballs. Once you have done this go talk the 6th trainer who gives you a nugget. He turns out to be a rocket and will fight you to get you to join them, well if you followed my advice you should get your butt kicked by him and lose half your money, which doesn't matter if you used it all rofl . So once you wake up go back and talk to him again and he will give you another nugget, and kick your butt once more. You can do this as many times as you want I myself did it 20 times for a nice $100,000 rofl interesting... very interesting

Rumor A few years years ago I heard that theree is another way to catch Jarachi is if you go to Mt. moon and go to where Bagon can be cough, and dig there you will go to a chamber where Jarachi lives and you can battle him and catch him. This has been proven false!

Trick NOTE: This requires at least two pokemon, and access to a PC. First, take the pokemon you want to duplicate, put it into your group. Make sure you have a box with at least one free slot. Save your game in front of your PC. Then, go to the box, and deposit the pokemon. Exit the box, go to ''Change Box,'' select any box, and while it's saving, turn off the Gameboy. NOTE: Make sure that you do it while the message ''Saving, do not turn off the power'' is still there. Otherwise it will not work. Turn on the Gameboy, the box should be the one that you deposited the pokemon in. You should have the pokemon in your group and have the same pokemon in your group.

I wonder how many weird little cheats and tricks and stuff there are in Pokemon... TRICK You know, lots of people like the S.S. Anne. I don't know why. Sometimes they just never want to see that ship set sail... Well, now, you DON'T! This trick is very simple, really. Basically, you go onto the ship, get the HM, and fight until you lose. Then you can go back again later. Or, if you've already seen the ship set sail, there is another way to get back on the luxury cruise ship! Alright. You need a Pokemon that can Surf. Stand on the square that is diagonal to the guy near the ship. On the wood, yes. Take a step to the right and pause while taking the step. Save the game and turn it off. Start the game up and you'll be facing the water. Try to surf and... WHOA! You're surfing on that guy! Go down and you can get onto the ship. It's still there and everything! I guess it just came back...

I know I had a cheat somewhere, for silver/gold/crystal. It was to clone pokemon, the thing is, when you cloned pokemon, if they were holding an item, the item would get cloned also.
Lots and lots of rare candies, master balls, and nuggets...

Most people know that if you give a Shuckle a berry it changes into Berry Juice after a while. What I didnt know, is if you leave it there for a while longer, it becomes a Rare Candy. I dunno if this is actually true because I have yet to try it, but I read it on Wikipedia, and Wikipedia is never wrong. Ever. So if anyone has/wants to try it out, I'd like to know if there's any truth to this.
Oh, and as it turns out, in Fire Red, Leaf Green and Emerald, you can pick up more than one Pokemon in the PC boxes by holding down A and moving the cursor while its orange. Just read that on Wikipedia too.

Picking up more than one Pokemon is very handy, especially if you need to move a whole box of 'em. Also, if you press Select while in the box, the little hand icon becomes gold and you can pick up a Pokemon (or more) and move it without having to select it from the menu. Time saving. 3nodding
