*Sierra ignored all visual sences as the shadows spread. Elf's had excellent night vision and she wasn't an ordinary elf, but she didn't need her eyes to tell her where the winged vampiress had flown. She could feel Mai's power like a direct line between them. Sierra shielded her energy signature with little effort, a basic she had learned thousands of years ago to keep her safe from those who would track her by the power she had been born with.
She leaned forward with a graceful sweep of her arms, her hands still holding both blades. She had won the battle, but the war was far from over. As the thought crossed her mind her wings burst forth from her back in a semi-grotesque splitting of skin. The four enourmous wings stretched out to their full span, they hummed with tension as the black feathers dried, the blood dripping from them flacking the ground at the woman's feet.
She eased into the air, her wings an abony brilliance behind her. Her long hair tossed about her like a glistening crimson tempest as she flew towards her sister, She held the two blades before in a cross block and chanting under her breath, the shadows were shattered as a blinding red light cut through the darkness. The elf's spell circle was pushing back the darkness and as the incantation was completed a blinding ball of white light formed before her and careened towards Mai, followed by several more so that anywhere she moves, she's in the attacks path. She also fires some of the orbs off to the sides and behind her, rendering her sister's transport spell useless.*

((It was worth a try, Tranz.))
Mai screamed as one of the light orbs hit her shoulder. She dropped to the roll rolling onto her hands and kness, her wings spread wide for balance. The girl groaned as she gasped for air. Pushing her hands off the ground the younger girl staggered to her feet, a hand clutching the shoulder the light magic had hit. The shoulder burned, but it would do no lasting damage.
"Damn, Onesan. Light magic??"
The girl rolled her eyes as she folded her wings against her back. Bending down, she snagged a dagger from her boot and threw it deftly, aiming for the older girl's shoulder.

*A smile crosses her face as she smiles down at her sister, hovering above her*
"Light is the darkness's own enemy ma petite..."
*Her eyes narrow as the dagger flys at her. It wasn't a very stable throw and easily dodgable but instead she furls her wings around her like a protective armour. The small blade bites into the feathers in a small splatter of blood before falling to the ground beneath her. She eyes the damage done to her lower left wing and frowns.*
"Tsk... you've spliced the feathers with that little trick..."
*It wasn't a big problem and didn't impair her flight but Sierra took good care of her wings and having the feathers hacked apart didn't rest well with her. It was almost personal. Her wings were the crowning mark of her oni spirit. The demon within her was almost insulted and pushed beneath the surface, fighting for release but Sierra pushed it back and instead landed before her sister. She was nearly weaponless now and Sierra had not lost one.
She shethed the sword at her side and tucked the dagger back in it's sheath. Crossing her arms at the wrists, palms up she begins to chant. She summons forth a gathering of water and aims it at her sister with great force*
