CaptainMorganBlack Um... what ensactly does that translate to??? rofl = hello generic pirate who has no idea of how piracy worked, and is just another wannabe who will be automatically positioned under the class of 'village idiot'. biggrin [Edit by Guild Crew: Daithes, this is unacceptable- your abuse of new members is prejudgemental, unneccesary, rude, and it's driving away recruits. Cease tormenting the newcomers at once, they deserve as much or more of a chance than you did. This is not the first occasion, and had better be the last. Consider this a warning- you have only three.
To CaptainMorganBlack- welcome to the guild, it appears the three trials have been slimmed down to one as of late. You'll find most of the rest of us quite amicable really- ignore Daithes if he bothers you.]

And that's just the censored, paraphrased translation.

*chuckles* I find this all quite amusing, actually. But a few questions, 1.) is he always this crabby? (If so, Im going to have loads of fun! twisted ) 2.) As to the knowing nothing of piracy, Im trying me hardest to learn as much as I can. (And in me own defense, I've only been exposed to pre-1600 pirates, so give me a while because they're quite different.) Not to mention you were using EMOTES and I was asking about the guild rules. If ye find me unacceptably unlearned than either give me a link or please save it for ye crew, mate.
Now that I've been welcomed in, ( xd ) which would ye consider the best guild to join first? (When I was skimming the pages, I think "the pub" was mentioned....)

The best thread, you mean to say? I was directed immediately to the pub, so I suppose all I can do is the same to you. I've recently entered myself and the few active characters seem all to have previous histories. I would welcome company. >)

Welcome to Provoka, Lad's & Lasses. I am Captain J. Kurisutofa, Master of the Brig "Lady Washington".
I'd like to welcome you all here on behalf of the High Council of Provoka. I might be a tad latre, due to Miss Gunn's constant stalking of these forums, but at least I've made an appearance, am I not correct?
Anyhow, feel free to ask any questions you may have. Once again, Welcome!
p.s.: "Where as I agree that Mr. Daithes has acted rashly, I shall say in his defense that he's just trying his bes to play his part: the condescending a*****e of the group. Please be patient with him: he's still trying his hand at learning his social graces. I'm sure that it shant happen again. If it does, I'll take full responsibility for him, he being under my protection as one of my crewmen."

Pardon my bluntness, Miss Black: but are ye' an actual Captain, or is your title, purley for show? Provoka, in the past, has held strict regulations against it's citizens parading about with false titles. The rank of Captain is usually reserved for Member's with a Ship Guild. I just thought I'd let you know.

Thank god we don't have another Morgan on our hands. It's bad enough with me and my daughter, and then there's all these others popping up. mad d Welcome aboard, Ms. Black, Mr. Perdue.
We've been careful with captaincy in the past, yes. There's actually only three on the whole damn isle. And neither of the guild's captains are. xd Ironic, really.
