Gas=M9-350fps-22capa-some chinese brand that absolutely does not adhere to copyright laws (china is awesome)
Electric=AK74-300~330fps-550capa-ICS

i own a electric FP8and my sidearm is a berretta all metal gas...i think spring altho reliable isnt enough in a match. you need to be able to get the shots out fast and accurate.the only spring weapon i have is a stockless shotgun and thats for taking a building shooting at the windows. everyone i play with owns a gas pistol, but one of my friends just got back from the marine corps and has a all metal gas rifle >.> its a m 16 and it hurts. but gas is the best altho the most exspensive

Ahem. Perhaps you've never heard of an AEG? I suggest you invest in one, they are far better than most anything out there.

I know I'm kind of late in making a comment about this, but do you really need a pistol to sneak up on people to tap them out? Why not take an AEG with you instead. And i think that pistols might require just a bit more skill than an aeg, because pistols put out less plastic.
But that's just my input, i have never been to a real airsoft war.

Its about mobility, can you run faster with a eight pound or more AEG or a two pound pistol?
