we have a ton of books in my house. its funny sometimes. there are bookcases in every bedroom, and in the hallway.another in the dining room. i think that we must be obsessed, but there are worse things to be obsessed with. rofl

yay u right i love my old books crying but people instits on butting stuff away ur house sounds like heaven any place with books like a libary or B&N i live for

I am pretty lucky when it comes to that. I picked my room for all the bookshelves. I have 2 flights of stairs to get to my room, but its worth it. biggrin

Hmmm some of my favorite books are written by Anne Rice. Like the Vampire Lestat I LOVE THAT BOOK and Merrick and I love a few other written by her.
There was also this book called "The Silver Kiss." I had a teacher who knew I liked reading Anne Rice books barrow that book and I though that it was going to be lame but once I opened it and started reading it I couldnt put it down.
I also enjoy reading mangas ^^

OoOo me to me to wats ur fave mine is a combination between black cat,and a new one that just fell on me(literly i was sitting on the floor in B&N and smack it wacked my head and i buoght it it was destiny)vampire doll

yes well i liked the idea of the book coming to me but sense itflew out of knoew where and hit me with it corner i would liike it if the books be less vilent and ur right it was halrouse im still luaghing about it

my favorite books are sci-fi ones by Scott Westerfeld
My favorite series by him is the "Uglies" trilogy. But im currently working on "Midnighters" trilogy by the same person. im on the 3rd one. and next im going to read "Peeps" by scott westerfeld.
im beggeing to see a pattern lmao... heart heart

I love all the Tamora Pierce books I have read (though I don't have the latest ones). I also like the Harry Potter series, too. When ti came to movies three and four, I avoided watching them for the longest time, because each movie tends to differ even more greatly from each of the books. On a few blogs, I have even speculated on the contents of the seventh book (yes, I have read them all). I like Ann McCaffrey's Pern series. Did you know she wrote a romance, called A STITCH IN THE SNOW? It was a sweet story. I'll have to read it again sometime, to refresh my memory. If Mom hadn't been reading romance books, I would never have heard of it I liked WICKED, though I have yet to read SON OF A WITCH. Right now, I'm reading Judith Berman's BEAR DAUGHTER. The story is influenced by Native American legend. It's the story of Cloud, who spent the first twelve years of her life as a bear, but can't remember anything about it. So far, it seems (I have not finished the book yet, but I plan to do that tonight). I'll be posting reviews of it to MySpace, and I'll probably cross post it to Amazon.com. Other than finishing EATS, SHOOTS AND LEAVES: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation *which I have so far enjoyed, as well, and found to be written in engaging and informative prose, thus far), the next book I plan top review is IVORY SWORD: THE LORE OF DAYONE by A.A. Wolfner and Alan J. Vekich.
So... I think I'm in good company here. wink So long as you don't mind that I'm working on writing, too.

I have read Wicked, and I have Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, and the snow white one i think, i can't remember..lol.. I've only read Wicked, it was such a different book for me to read. I liked it, but it wasn't my favorite. I thought it was really creative and written well though. biggrin

It's very well written and the conflicts of interests between Affleflad (I can't spell the name right because it has characters not used in the english alphabet) wanting to be herself and the fact her marrying the enemy country king bringing peace, also she's a target for another counrty that wants to take over both the countries, I'm not gonna tell more than that other than it's a good read ^^

I thought it was really creative and written well though. biggrin When I get BEAR DAUGHTER by Judith Berman (Paperback - 28 November, 2006, Ace Books)and Ivory Sword: The Lore of DAYONE by A.A. Wolfner and Alan J. Vekich (Paperback - Oct 17, 2005, PublishAmerica) reviewed, then I can start in on THE CELESTINE PROPHECY. I won the book and DVD set, and I'm curious, which is why I entered the contest in the first place. I really need to make time to read THE PARASITORIUM: PARASITIC SANDS anthology (Lulu/com, January, 2007). I'm only familiar with my own story in it, and I have not read any of the other ones yet. At least they're short stories, so I can make the time to read them, after I catch up with the rest of the group I belong to. We're working our way through THE WEEKEND NOVELIST by Robert J. Ray. It's and excellent book as well. I was happy to find a group of people who wanted to work through it all at the same time too. It's an added encouragement.
