Okay, I have to join in on this one!
Athrun, all the way!!!!!!
Kira is adorable. And in my opinion, Kira matures a lot more than Athrun does.
But Athrun is way too darn hot!! cool
And I agree with whoever said this, that Athrun and Kira look better in Destiny than in SEED. It's true. Especially for Athrun. heart

You ladies just can't seem to stick to the designated topic, now can you? Here you are, bickering over whether Mister Zala is superior to Mister Yamato when you're supposed to be trading SEED-related jokes.

forgive us, we often go off topic.
regardless, i've seen that pairing before. most assume it happens because no one can tell the difference between lacus and meer...almost.
prior to that though, another one like that i've seen is Murrue Ramius X Rau Le Crusset.

Murrue Ramius x Rau Le Creuset is inherently less humourous than Kira Yamato x Meer Campbell, seeing as Mu and Rau are two radically different people in terms of physical appearance and personality. Sure, Rau can attempt to deceive Murrue by posing as Mu, but that would make for something more dramatic than comedic.

XD haha poor old kira if lacus and meer actually switched about. lacus wouldn't do that to him though, unless meer orders for her to be kidnapped for a few hours.
wonder whether athrun will walk in and react on her trying to act like lacus in front of kira...

i heard this one on another forum, though we sort of discussed it here in another thread. it's not really a joke or a spoof, but you can come up with some brilliant ideas from it: Stellar doesn't die and is nearly drowned when Shinn throws her into the lake. After being pushed to the surface by the giant squid, she walks around trying to find Shinn. Finally on Orb territory, she spots Shinn and Luna walking together away from the memorial. What do you think she's going to do?

After being pushed to the surface by the giant squid, she walks around trying to find Shinn. Finally on Orb territory, she spots Shinn and Luna walking together away from the memorial. What do you think she's going to do? I came up with a similar idea for a Gundam SEED/Destiny rewrite I was making a year ago; work's been delayed on it significantly, but ideas and plot lines are still floating around. Unfortunately, I'm currently drawing blanks for how Stellar would react in such a situation. Depending on how one chooses to play it, it might end with a harmless catfight, a lot of talk without much action, or an outright fatality.

If assigned the ZGMF-X666S Legend instead of the ZGMF-X42S Destiny, Shinn Asuka will try to study Rau Le Creuset's combat performance at the Second Battle of Jachin Due and then attempt to replicate it to the finest detail. Simply put, he'll follow the same path as Le Creuset, and he'll meet the same fate as Le Creuset.
