The girl allowed the liquid to slip down her throat. She shivered and spasmed, trying to control her fit. The pain was slowed as she swallowed the elixer that the new girl had given her. The light began to shimmer through the last leaves of the trees as she looked up at the girl.
"I remember..." Was all that Ako whispered as she slipped away into sleep.

Puzzled, she smiled, glad, suprisingly, that the girl was alright. They were close to the forest, she knew they'd be safer, and more comfortable, there.

A few minutes later, she sat with her back against an oak, the girl laying beside her on a patch of soft grass. She'd managed to get the girl here, it wasn't that far, and the girl wasn't as heavy as she'd thought. Plus, she had had some help...

Ako's eyes flickered, and immediatly the scent of the ocean was melded with that of the forest. Her lips were forced into a smile as she scented the beuty of nature. When she opened her eyes, she was frightened to see that she wasn't in her apartment. She saw the girl from earlier.
"Wha-?" she didn't finish her question because her throat closed up in confusion.

She jumped, startled, having been lost in her thoughts once more. "Are you okay?" she asked quickly, her voice gentler than it had been before in the city.

"Y-yes..." Ako stammered, as she looked at the girl. She shivered as the wind blew through her coat. She suddenly realized her wings were still visible, and she shook them, embarrased.
"So, I guess you know..."she whispered, her head lowered in shame.

"About- Oh. Yea, but it's nothing to be ashamed of." she said, brushing a piece of hair that had escaped her clip behind her pointed ear.

She smiled and looked down, her bangs falling down over her eyes.
"Thank you..." She shifted in her place and her wings brushed against each other. "It's just that... When I was young everyone would tease me and so I learned to hide them. I guess, I'm just too afraid of people making fun of me." She said to herself, I'm such a coward.
Looking back up she grinned and tried to dismiss the thought, but one word would eminate painfully through her mind.

Coward.

Father Michael Andrews had just finished his daily routine at the Order and was heading home. As he neared Ako and his apartment, he noticed that the door was ajar. He rushed inside and saw papers and items askew from the wind. He shook his head in disbelief and ran upstairs to try and find Ako.

Not finding her anywhere he began to worry that someone had kidnapped her for her powers. The order and warned him about the angel pursuers and how Ako was in danger of being found. Trying to appear casual, he closed the door to his apartment and began to walk down the cobblestoned road towards the town fountain where she often sat. He knew that the last thing he wanted to do was to painc.

When he found that she wasn't at the fountain, he gripped the hilt of his sword that rested at his side. He frowned, his eyes set, and concentrating deeply on where he could find her. The scent of the White Rose lingered for a second, and only a second. He sprinted towards the forest.

In his confusion, he did not realize what he was doing.

He was panicking.

As he rushed down the raods of Grey he began to remember the necklace he had given her. He had never told her, but it was a charm his mother had given him. She had told him that it would protect you from the darkness and bring light to you, no matter where you are. That's when he was sent to the Order. He had a replica made and gave the real one to Ako, knowing that she needed to be protected from the evil spirits that would try to possess her. Knowing all too well about his sister, he dismissed the thought and sped up, as if his haste alone would find Ako.

Saro said nothing for a moment, before brushing her own dark thoughts from mind. She started to speak, but shut her mouth quickly, knowing nothing she could say would help.

She glanced around, unsettled for some reason. She didn't hear anything.... That was it, it was silent. No birds, animals, nothing. "We should go back to the city, something's coming....." she said quietly, fully alert. Her eyes settled on a series of bushes, searching for the form that was moving the branches. She let out the breath she didn't realize she'd been holding as a silver wolf padded out, coming to stand beside the elf. Saro met it's eyes, holding it's gaze for a minute. She looked away, back to Ako.

"Something big is coming, I don't know what though. It's scared everything away though.... And, how lenient to wolves are the people in the city? I doubt I could get Khalia to stay here." she asked, motioning to the wolf.

Ako kept her eyes on the wolf as she answered Saro's question. "The people of the city don't worry about wild animals, unless it's hurt one of the citizens."
She smoothed down her jacket and stood up, ready to head back into the city, and she looked up just in time to see Father Michael arriving.

Father Michael Andrews slowed down at the sight of Ako standing up.
"Where have you been?" He gasped, his hair strewn over his eyes.
His voice was full of anxiety and his face began to persperate, his breath lightly fogging the air.

Both Ako and Father Michael looked at each other. It was too early for it to be so cold. Without warning a fleeting snowflake flittered gently onto Ako's face, she blinked as it landed on her rosey, wind-blown cheeks.

With sudden urgency, she looked at Saro and then back up to Father Michael.
"We musn't linger here!" She gasped, she walked tightly and hastely to Father Michael and gripped his sleeve, leading him off. "If you would like, you may stay with us Miss." Ako added looking back at Saro.

((Xindaris appears!!!
"Sorry I didn't see this earlier, I bet it was made while I was away" xd
"Since there's already a werewolf, I'll be doing something a bit different" wink

Username:Xindaris
Name:Xidun (pronounced like ZI(I as in eye)-Don)
Race:Werefox
Abilities:Able to change fully or partially (any amount) into a fox at will; gifted in a form of psychic magic associated with making others trust him despite any better judgment
Class:Thief; Trickster; Assassin
Personality:Xidun is extremely friendly, as far as anyone knows. If he doesn't like a person, he doesn't show it immediately; instead he waits until they trust him enough and then robs them blind and/or kills them. He can be lazy without anyone ever noticing, and is generally non-violent in a public situation. He has some good in him, and some sense of a conscience, but his view of right and wrong changes if he feels it's appropriate.
Magic:He channels all magical ability (other than the ability to change form) into a constant invisible aura that makes others trust him.
Weapons:He carries numerous hidden knives and daggers.
Hobbies:He enjoys almost anything that someone he knows does, quite honestly, which is another reason why nobody ever sees him coming when he stabs them in the back.
Attribute razz sychic if anything.
Appearance:Xidun is thin and small and scrawny-looking, with a small bit of extra fat. He usually wears a tan shirt and leather pants in any humanoid form. His weapons are concealed all over his clothes in places that don't even look or feel like pockets. His clothes meld into fur where necessary when he has a tail or shifts to enough of an animal form. His eyes are red, and his hair as well as his fur is a deep red with white at the tips.
History:Xidun usually wanders into a town and stays there for awhile. During that time, after a couple of weeks there are reports of stolen things and murders that don't seem to follow any logical pattern; and then when people begin to expect him, he's gone. Somehow he manages to evade the notice of people who he's known in the past, even if they see him.
Family:It's unknown who Xidun's family is.
Age:55 (appears to be 24 or so)
Sex:Male
Home:Wherever he wanders to
Alignment:Chaotic Neutral
Other Info:[N/A]

I'm under the assumption the were-animals live longer and appear youthful longer than humans; if that's wrong I'll fix it.))

((It's only a day or so old....))

Saro hesitantly followed her, the wolf following the elf even more reluctantly. Khalia drarted foreward, butting Saro's legs with her head. Setting a hand on her head to reasure her, Saro stayed a few paces behind the other two, uncomfortable now that there was a new person, probably Ako's guardian.

((That's good Xindaris. Thank you! ^w^))

Sensing Saro's anxiety, Ako turned and smiled.
"It's alright, you don't have to worry. This is Father Michael, he's my father." She turned back, hoping that Saro wouldn't worry.

She looked from the back of his head to Ako's, wondering how it was possible. He wasn't that much older than the girl was... Oh well. It didn't really matter, did it?

As the reached the edge of the city, she moved up beside the girl. "I have a friend I can stay with, but thanks." she said, smiling faintly before slipping off in a different direction.
