Xalio That's so very, very cruel and yet so very, very true... Technically he doesn't kill innocent people. He killed Buquet (is that spelled correctly?) because Buquet was trying to stalk him and figure out his secrets. His second victim, Piangi, needed to be removed from the scene so he could replace him. He only killed people for good reasons! (Yeah.. like I believe that) lol, he could have fired him don't ya think? xd oh well, i have no objections to it! as long as he doesn't kill me, i'm happy biggrin

No, because then he would have just had to play the whole part himself. I don't think he would want to do that..

I just don't understand. Why doesn't anyone like Raoul anymore? Why are they all obsessed with Erik? Have any one of you read the book and even slightly understood it? If you have, you wouldn't be so taken with Erik, you'd love Raoul as much and slightly more. The whole book you feel terrible for Raoul and just want to cry, then a bit at the end, you hear Erik's story and feel a bit bad for him. I am really getting tired of all of these Erik phans...nobody bothers to learn the story or anything, they watch the movie and look for hot faces. But the stupid directors don't cast cute people as Raoul (okay okay, yes, they have in the past but nobody bothers to see the old movies...). I love the Raoul in the Charles Dance version....he's so foppish... xd .
But really people. I challenge everybody to go out and read the unabridged (I don't even know if there's an abridged version to tell the truth...) version of Gaston Leroux's Phantom of the Opera. Then we'll see how many people hate Raoul. I love Erik, yes, but I feel just as bad for Raoul. They don't give the audience a real reason to pity Raoul in the movies, but in the book.....yeah...go read it peeps...see what you think -then-....

He was sitting in his bed and saw two gleaming eyes. He turned on the light and they were gone. He grabbed his gun and turned the lights back off. There were the eyes. He shot them and they disappeared. He looked out on his balcony and there was blood. Philippe thought he killed a cat xd
