Out of Symphonia and Abyss...
Symphonia.
I don't know why though. I just like it more for some reason.

well id say Abyss and Symphonia, but Legendia was pretty good. Abyss overall though.

Tales of Symphonia, it was my first. Not only my first Tales game but also my first good, addicting RPG. After that iut would have to be Tales of Destiny.

Tales of Rebirth. The characters are plain awesome, the world is cool, the music is REALLY good, and the story is just amazing. I love it
Tales of Symphonia is second, and Abyss would be third. My fourth would Legendia, and fifth would be Phantasia I think. Vesperia will probably change that list a lot though xd

My first tales of game was Symphonia..i reminber the day i got it i was 10 and bought it just cuz i thought they character where pretty even thought i never played it tell i was 14 (omgosh i had the game for 4 year and never played it)
i love the game to death
but my fav had to be tales of the abyss..I had to work my butt of for my mommy to buy me that game but it was worth it 3nodding

I feel like I haven't played enough Tales of games. I've only sampled some of them, and right now I'm trying to get ahold of two others (Tales of Destiny and Tales of Eternia). I want those games SO BADLY. Right now, I've only played/only own six Tales of games.
I first saw Tales of Legendia on the shelf, asked my friend about it, and she doesn't care a lot for most of the series so she said, "Nah, it's not that great of a series." Trusting her judgment, guess what I did? Ignored the game. D:
Then I saw Tales of Phantasia on the shelves, and then heard a bit about Tales of Symphonia. Unable to acquire ToS because I couldn't find it in my city (no joke) and not having enough money at my job to pay for any of it anyhow...the same friend who didn't like the series bought me Tales of Symphonia for my GC and shipped it halfway across the US for me. :'D Though slightly beforehand, I'd managed to acquire ToP for a nice price - I had a ton of Rewards money coupons for Best Buy and brought it brand new at $5.35 (tax included).
I still say that was the best cheap game I ever bought. razz
(I've paid $40-50 for shittier games...no joke.)
So after that I got Tales of the Abyss, later got Legendia, managed to get Radiant Mythology when it came out, and I just imported Tales of Rebirth this month.
I've finished TotA and ToS - and more than once. Stuck on ToP - stuck in the game, and stuck on the fact I'm forced to stare at a smaller screen to play it. razz
I'd have to say that so far, Tales of the Abyss is probably my favorite game, but then I play Tales of Phantasia and think, "No, this one!" xD I need to finish some games. It's hard for me to play on a small screen though, since I can only play it in my GBA.
I'm totally loving every minute of Tales of Rebirth too, though. I've only had it for a few days, and I'm obsessively playing it. I usually do with most games.
Legendia...I'm not sure yet. I enjoy it, it's nice, but sometimes it irks me so badly. x_x I can't explain it.
Ugh, such hard choices. And I need to catch up. In July, I'll have played the series for about two years. Not long - so many games in the past to pay for, and so many still coming out on me! x_

Thats really hard for me. I can obsess with a Tales game and then switch to another one. I guess its mostly between Symphonia and Abyss. Eternia was so cute.

Wow..so many Abyss and Symphonia fans...maybe cause they're the only 2 games officially announced in the U.S while that left Tales of Eternia and Tales of Destiny out in the dark. Tales of Legendia was announced too but it was never made public like Abyss and Symphonia was so I guess that's one reason..
Anyways, on topic, not sure if I answered this or not but Tales of Destiny (and the remake )is my favorite out of them all. I dunno, not many people understand the story line but I find it just fine. Battle system is pretty fun in the Remake while in the original its kinda same as well, only, your wasting tp rather then energy bars in the Remake. That's just how I feel. Graphics better too and story actually gets to you then the first one.

Kenta would be or is pissed at all the Symphonia fans, im sure XD Mine would be Abyss. Gameplay was just great and i love the characters. Artes were kinda eh in it, and the story is WAY overplayed. *faces all the Tales main enemies* Sorry guys but mass genocide just isnt the answer okay? But yeah Abyss and its fail glitches are awesome XD Sucks though, ive only played Abyss, Symphonia, Eternia, Radiant Mythology, and Narikiri Doungeon 3. *fetal position* must...get...360....and...Vesperia
