Rizen called out his newly caught Horsea. The Pokemon definitely looked strange. It had to have been as ancient as that overgrown ice cube it'd been frozen in. "Sea?" the Pokemon asked as it looked around. Noticing Rizen, it cocked it's head and looked closer. ~Is this a Pokemon? Or is it...a human?~ it thought to itself.

"Hello." Rizen greeted. "My name's Rizen, do you have one of your own?" he asked softly. ~Of course I do, you idiot!~ the Pokemon thought, rolling it's eyes before spitting ink onto the cave floor, spelling out "Shyai" in rather blocky letters. "Oh, ok Shyai. It's nice to meet you." Rizen responded, softly rubbing the Pokemon's head. ~Ohhhhh, you can do that all you want.~ Shyai thought to itself, loving that feeling.

"Want to help me beat a gym leader?" Rizen asked after a moment, stopping his petting in the process. ~Anything as long as you'll keep doing that!~ Shyai thought as he nodded and nudged the man's hand.

"I guess that's a 'yes'." Khite voiced as he walked over, holding a chunk of what looked like a golden rock in his hand. A piece of amber.

"Then let's get out of here." Rizen agreed as he lifted Shyai into his arms and held the Pokemon close. With that, they exited the cavern as quickly as possible.
