I love that movie =3 My favorite characters ar Hugo, Laverne, and Clopin. My favorites songs are Topsy-Turvy, Hellfire, and Bells of Norte Dame =3 I hate Frollo, he is my least favorite Disney villain ever, he's such a jerk xxD

Much love for this movie 3nodding I saw it thrice this week, though. One time during class, but I didn't get to see the end so I watched it at home the next day, then my brother wanted to see it (with me, naturally) so yeah.
Much heart for Clopin. I love it how in the beginning-ish area of the movie he's all "happy happy happy" then when Quasi and Phoebus find the Court of Miracles he's like "KEKEKEKE DEATH FOR YOU 8D".
And that main tune thing has been stuck in my head all week, to the point of my trying to figure it out on guitar. I partially suceeded gonk heart

I loved that movie! I didn't see the second HUNCHBACK movie but if I did, I think I would have still liked the 1st one better.
I like the gargoyles,Jolly,Esmarelda and Quasimodo.

top_spy I loved that movie! I didn't see the second HUNCHBACK movie but if I did, I think I would have still liked the 1st one better. I like the gargoyles,Jolly,Esmarelda and Quasimodo. It's actually Djali, not Jolly. I'm afraid to see the sequel.

I love this movie. No question. And it was dark, but when you really think about Disney Movies, most are pretty dark but you don't notice it when you first see 'em, you're little. I love Djali and I think it was interesting how they named the Gargoyles after the author. (Victor and Hugo... Where did Laverne come from? XD) This was a great movie and I actually watched it again not too long ago.
I also hate Frollo with a passion. He creeps me out.
Also the sequel should be burned and never watched by anyone. It just kind of gouges the rusty knife deeper into poor Quasi's heart to see Phoebus and Esmerelda's son. sad

I think Laverne is named after one of the Andrews sisters. I read that somewhere and forget where neutral
I'm also trying to wipe any knowledge of the sequel from my memory banks.

i didn't like the hunchback is notredame because it was too dark and depressing and it didn't end well which i basically a must for good disney's in my books. I watch disney's to escape the harshness of the real world not to sink further into it. eek

But it did have a happy ending. Frollo was vanquished, the gypsies were saved and freed. The guy may not have gotten the girl but he wasn't upset about it, in the end, which is a nice break from the typical Disney endings :]
