It didn't take long for Naruto's shocked expression to fade. As soon as it did, he started kissing Hinata back with the same intensity.
This feels so right.
Naruto cursed his stomach silently when a loud growl came from his stomach.

Hinata giggled at the look on Naruto's face.
"I guess we did skip lunch."
She smiled and rolled off of him, sitting just inches away smiling and blushing.
"Shall we go back to the resturant and finish out lunch...date?"

Naruto gave her one of his best boyish grins.
" Of course, and It'll be my treat naturally."
He got up and offered his hand to her.

Taking his hand, she allowed him to pull her up and lead her off the feild, the hushing of iruka and the giggling children left behind. The walk to the resturant was longer then she remembered it being when she ran from it just earlier. She never released his hand and he didn't seam to mind. some people stopped and stared and made silent comments to eachother, but none of it bothered her. She just smiled her shy smile and tried not to blush which was almost impossible since she was so happy and holding the hand of the famous Naruto Uzumaki.

Proud only barely described how Naruto was feeling right now. He saw head turns and people wispering amongst eachother. Obviously, they had noticed how Naruto and Hinata were walking hand in hand. He walked along, chest pumped up and grinning.
That's right, I, Naruto Uzumaki, am with Hinata Hyuga!
When then got the restaurant, Naruto openned to door for Hinata like a true gentleman.

Naruto has matured greatly. I hope that kiss didn't go to his head. I love him and all... but I love the crazy Naruto not the fake one.
Hinata sat down across from Naruto and ordered her usual ice tea.

Naruto was trying hard not to make any mistakes.
I don't want to screw this one up.
He briefly looked over the menu.
" I would like two of the biggest ramen bowls you've got! Believe it!"
He then looked back at Hinata.
" Aren't you going to order something else Hinata-chan? Remember, it's my treat"
He winked at her.

Hinata blushed and ordered her favorite flavor of ramen in a small bowl. she wasn't a big eater and her stomach was in nots.

Their meal arrived soon after. Naruto rubbed his hands together in anticipation.
"Boy I love Ramen."
He broke his chopsticks appart and began eating. Let's just say Naruto was not the most clean eater. People sitting around them were giving him funny looks but he didn't notice. His stomach was talking louder than them at the moment.

Hinata smiled and broke her chopsticks. She hesitated and watched Naruto eat... he was a messy eater, but she dind't care. He never embarasses her. The way he is is the way she wanted him to stay. Smiling, she began to eat her own port wine flavored ramen and her iced tea.
Thank you Naruto for not laughing at me whenI told you my true feelings. Maybe that was why I was afraid to approch him all these years? I was afraid of rejection? All that matters now is he is mine. All mine.
Hinata continued eating, golancing up at Naruto every now agaiin and when thery caught eyes, they would both blush and smile. People around them talked. How could such a simple and innocent girl be in love with a boy such as naruto. Bt thier words didn't bother Hinata.

Sakura was miserable. She sat in the restaurant playing with her ramen.
Could this day get any worse? I've waited and waited for Kakashi and he didn't turn up. Now I'm sitting by myself at a noodle bar like a loser.
She shifted her weight and rested her cheek on her hand.
If only Kakashi would even remember me...
She yawned, then stretched with her eyes snapped shut, but something caught her eye. It was Naruto and Hinata sitting together at a table...laughing? Hinata was laughing with Naruto?
Ah yes. She remembered. Naruto and Hinata were together now. She had only been shocked for a minute because it hit her that she was just about the only person without a lover...besides Kakashi.
She scooted away from the bar and jumped off the stool. After brushing off the noodles that had fallen into her lap, Sakura walked over to the table where they were sitting.
"Hey Naruto! Hey, Hinata! How are you guys?" she said as she grinned her widest. But she wasn't smiling inside. Sakura was lonely, for she had no one to comfort her.

Hinata was surprised to see Sakura here.
"Hello Sakura, how are you doing today?"
Hinata could tell from her oewn years of sadness that Sakura wasn't as happy as she tried to seam. Naruto didn't notice this, but Hinata did.
"Would you like to join us?"
Hinata felt as though after making all those speculations thgat she and Naruto were togethert, it was the least they could do and invite her to join them.

Sakura was delighted to sit and chat with her friends to get her mind off of Kakashi and his no-show at practice. She absent-mindedly pulled a chair out from under a man right as he was about to sit in it. He scowled, but Sakura paid no attention.
As she sat down, she recalled that, a while before, Sakura had told Hinata about her crush with Kakashi. And right now, she knew that Hinata was thinking about her and just trying to make her happy. She forced a smile and began some conversation.
"So...Hinata! Tell me all about your new lover-boy," she said, throwing a cheery glance at Naruto, who knew she was kidding. Hinata sported a blush.

Does she not know? Then maybe she still thinks we're just friends. I guess not too many know yet sicne it only happened a short while ago.
Hinata smiled and sipped her tea. Glancing up at Naruto who was lost in his ramen.
"Oh... Naruto-ku.... Naruto.... He's just fine, lost in his ramen as always..."
Hinata blushed as she almost blew it. They needed to take it slow as not to draw attention to themselves too much.

Naruto put his bowl down and looked at her.
" I'm sorry Hinata-chan. I'm just really hungry."
He set his chopsticks down on the table. His ramen could wait. His new girlfriend was more important to him.
