Zarina gave a small nod. "Something that travels well" she said. "like... Breakfast burritos or something... Along with my sketch pad, and some song books... Make it a twin day." she was thinking out loud now.

"Yes that would work, so would cinnamon sugar toast." Zahara put the chicken in the oven to bake and started washing the utensils she had used, all the while contemplating what could be taken on their twin day.

Zarina put the carrots on the stove and mixed in some spices to give them a little added flavor and was thinking of her own list. "Sunblock" she said suddenly and was silent again

Zahara set the timer on the stove and stepped back to put the dishes away while her sister dried her hands on the kitchen towel. "Blanket," she said adding to her sister's vocal thoughts. Zahara set the table with the few dishes she had unpacked. "What would you like to drink with dinner tonight Zarina?"

Zarina gave it a thought. "Sparkling water with lemon" was her response as she pulled more lemons out of the bag and set them on the counter.

"That sounds good I'll get some ice." Zahara pulled out 2 glasses and got cubes of ice from the freezer and the knife she had used for the lemons earlier to cut the ones for their drinks. "How are the carrots coming along 'Rina?" She asked, her tummy growling.

Having just picked up a fork to spear one of the carrots to check their doneness, Zarina took her time testing the carrots. "Almost done." she told her.

"Good, the chicken has about 3 more minutes, and the drinks should take no time at all." She finished with the lemon wedges and got their glasses to the table. Zahara set them down and walked to the window, opening it to let in a cool breeze scented sweetly with flowers.

"Mmk." Zarina said absently inhaling the scent of the flowers. "You can smell the wild roses from here" she said.

Zahara sighed as she breathed in the heavenly scent. "Maybe we could use some and make a rose water rince for our hair this summer, I do love that scent." She walked to the stove as the timer went off for the chicken.

"Mmmm..." was the only response and Zarina pulled the pan of carrots off of the stove.

Zahara brought the chicken to the table and sat down to wait on her sister, placing the chicken on a hot pad, the tangy smell of the chicken made her mouth water.

Zarina quickly followed with the carrots in a bowl with a little bit of butter melting over them. "Dinner is served." she said as she set the bowl down with a flourish.

Zahara served herself a small pieve of the boneless lemon pepper chicken, and a small helping of carrots. "Everything looks wonderful, I love being in the country where we have to cook because we live too far from all the restaurants, it makes things seem like it's all ours and we can be proud of it." Taking a bite of the mouthwatering carrots Zahara smiled and said, "Mmmmmm..."
