AlbireoX blackghost7 I have always been into girls, so of course I loved shoujo-ai! It wasn't until I was around 10-11ish that I actually understood my feelings though. I turned 18 in June, so you do the math. As far as my first pairing...I never really had one. sweatdrop Err, not quite what I meant. I was asking about how long you've been reading/watching yuri/shoujoai anime/manga. <---lol that's a lot of slash

Around the same time I started liking yaoi/shonen ai, which was around... 6 or 7 years ago?

I've like yuri for... well... a long time. Since I was about 8? 3nodding That's 10 years. xd
And yes, I mean watching/reading shoujo-ai things, too. I've been a Sailor Moon fan since its release, which was when I was 2, but didn't really get the Michiru-Haruka thing until about 8... then I was addicted to shoujo-ai, and began searching for it everywhere.
I've always been a lesbian, I suppose.

I've always been bisexual (my Barbies were lesbians...oO), though I didn't realize it until I was 15. So I guess I've been into shoujo-ai for 2 years. That doesn't seem like very long...

I am probably the oldest here and make my living off of shoujo-ai, I run Shoujo-ai Canada, formerly Kat. Kim & Neko Manga. I am 31 years old and started into anime when I was about 5 with "The little Prince" and "Fables of the green forest." I got into shoujo-ai in the 80s with things like Bubblegum Crisis and the like. Started studying it around the earily 90's and started my own shoujo-ai manga in 97 which ran for 5 years. Now been in the anime/manga business for the last 10 years. Now I'm a writer of lesbian novels and have been doing that for the past 3 years.
I think that sums it up.

I've been into it since I discovered it about eight years ago. It was nothing other than dumb luck and a wrong turn in a Sailor Moon fanfiction ring.

It all started when I was watching AMV Hell 3 and saw this guy from Revolutionary Girl Utena doing the James Brown thing.
So I searched it on YouTube and watched it.
Things progressed from there.

I got into yuri about maybe a year and a half ago...it may have been before or after that, but I'm not good with estimating dates. Anyways, I realized that I liked it when I looking over pairing listings for Yuugiou and 'blahing' every yaoi one, then stopped on Mai x Shizuka and smiled. It felt so right.
Then again, I may have been into it before that when I heard of Revolutionary Girl Utena and some of the yuri in it. That, besides the fact that it was an odd series, was what compelled me to watch the movie.

I've liked shoujo-ai without even noticing it. Starting with CCS. But I have gotten into it for about a year so far. I need to watch/read some more series though.

I went platinum, seven times...
But yeah, I was in it for 7 years, man! That's half of my life already.
I got into it because my cousins showed me my first tasteof hentai, so I started watching Sailor Moon differently. Started couping up Ami with Lita, and it just went on from there. It was a burning ember, but it wasn'tuntil I was 13 that I really really realy got into it so deeply as to be able to say to girls, "I think Tomo and Koyomi were made for each other," and not be embarassed by it.
But seriously, seven years, man. I wanna read the rest, see if I have the record
