Deo_Machina Toga! Toga! Stated before, but I'm widening my scope. I'll take anyone on the follwing subject pertaining to sexual freedom: -homosexuality -abortion -prostitution -incest. My stance is pro- for all of those. I think I'm anti-incest, but I'm not sure why..(Just society's imprint I guess) But what about incest causing genetic problems? What is your response to that? You mean the ever-so-slight increase in the likelihood of birth defects? Incest isn't as big of an issue as it's made out to be. On another note...Bev, don't you have any views that I could at least pretend to disagree with? We're never going to oppose one another on anything at this rate. razz

I feel like people should start making a bigger distinction between Incest and Inbreeding. Incest is speaking moreso in regards to a sexual relationship, or well, pretty much any kind of given relationship between two persons who are related that's not platonic. While Inbreeding is moreso in reference to actually procreating which is what people are really against when it boils down to it.

You could ask ReiDuck, she's studying genetics and such and was the one who told me all about it when I asked her about intercousin relationships and their genetic problems.

I shall read what has been happening at a later time, but I would like to mention I am one of the most anti-suicide people I know ((Some people try to say that it isn't selfish, so on and so forth)). I also am a big civil rights person. Pro-choice, pro-gay rights, anti-racism...
I am the standard American liberal in most of my political views.
I don't enjoy religious debates, as religion is based on faith not fact, so it's like trying to call an opinion wrong....you can't quite do that well. ((Beliefs within a religion is different, those I'll argue, but I try to avoid them.))
Ah what else...OH! Yes! I am an animal rights advocate, and sorta a semi-anti-human race person, being a cynic, a realist, and a pessimist.
Basically wthics is my thing, unless someone ACTUALLY thinks they can argue with me about my own religion, which only has four other members, but apparently some people don't like my collection of religious-esque philosophies that I have entitled a religion. Fyonism.

No. The basis behind it is the only way to restore your honor is to remove yourself from Earth. It didn't always help the families with their honor when the man of the house performed Seppuku or Hari-Kiri. It is the easy way out of shame, and I believe it possible to restore one's honor in other ways.
