I'd agree that Hulk could conceivably one-hit wolverine, as unlikely as it would be due to the massive advantage Wolverine has in terms of speed. I'd also say it would be just as conceivable (albeit unlikely) that wolverine could neatly decapitate the Hulk in short order, assuming he could get the proper positioning.

While we're here I just hauled out "Life's end" Part One "Fist fight" where Wolverine and Spiderman toussle, and Wolverine reliably dodged Spidermans attacks, knocks Spiderman into a nearby wall, gets hit back by spiderman, then kicks spiderman in the gut hard enough to knock the wind out of him. Going toe to toe with Spiderman should be a good enough show of agility...It's a little off topic but it's helping me build up to a definite knowledge of Wolverine's abilities.

Is it just me, or are you saying Wolvie is doing what Quicksilver, Thor, Captain Marvel, Gladiator, etc have failed to do to Hulk?

Unfortunately my copy is missing the cover, which pisses me off, but that's what constant moving does to a comic collection scream I did, however, post the story name and part, you should be able to find it from there. I'm not sure but I DO believe it was a spiderman title, believe it or not.

No not at all, I'm just saying that Wolverine has the capability to do it, was on the verge of doing it, has injured the not so jolly giant on several occasions, and was MEANT to be a threat to the Hulk. So yeah, maybe I am. Hey I HATED the Gladiator fight. It pissed me off to see what I personally thought was such an unbalanced fight go down, especially when my personal convictions on the issue said that Gladiator should have decimated Hulk in seconds. But then I remembered a few things. Gladiator was really weakened during that fight by exposure to radiation and was sucker punched by the Hulk....who then kicked him into a nuclear reactor (yet more radiation that Gladiator is weak against) and I can understand that for the cool factor it produced within the context of the comic. It's also worth noting that at no point in that fight did Gladiator even try to employ super speed, and anyone who tries to duke it out with Hulk in a weakened state is in for a rude awakening. Quicksilver really lacks the offensive potential, endurance, overall combat ability to fight the Hulk. The clap would just be too much for him to handle. Which Captain Marvel? Which Thor? Anyone claiming that Thor wouldn't realistically curbstomp Mean Green has never read more then a few Thor comics.

Pulled out the comic with SpM Vs Wolverine, I think it was a Marvel Comics Presents, has a story with Wasp, a story with Storm and Dr. Doom, and includes Lost Souls Adrift part 3, something about Devil Slayer.

My vague question was not answered by "being able to beat him" but "being able to completly outmaneveur him and out speed him so that he didn't stand a single chance in Hell in the fight."

No, wolverine wouldn't be able to do that, and whatever gave you the impression that I was saying that he would? He's definately much faster then Hulk, but he's certainly NOT untouchable and it's inevitable that at some point during any prolonged fight between the two Wolverine is going to have to open himself to attack to strike Hulk, or that Hulk would use a massive area attack that he would be unable to avoid.
But is a speed blitz by Wolverine a viable reality? Sure it is, it's definately NOT likely, but there's always the chance. I'd argue there's enough of a chance to warrant it being discussed, just like there's enough of a chance of Hulk clonking Wolverine on the parietal or occipital bone and knocking him out. They're both possible but unlikely as Wolverine would have to basically ambush Hulk to get the right elevation to decapitate him, and Hulk would have to overcome a significant body parry and agility differance with Wolverine.

I got that impression, because in my opinion how you describe the Hulk always down plays him. I usually tune out your arguements over his invulnerability because it always makes me allude to Majin Buu, which is hardly true.
