Sub_Voyage fan I have an intersting question for you. In Disneylands's Huanted Mansion they have the gallery with the portraits when you go down they change. I have heard in Flordia you go up. Is this true? If so how do they do the streching Gallery there? In Florida you DO go up, but the cieleing just moves faster, that's all. It's all illusions. Disneyland you go down, the upper part never moves. Has anyone seen the new Haunted Mansion in Disneyland yet? With the talking bride and the axe and the scaaaary pictures? It's all high tech, very amazing stuff. Puts a whole new perspective on the bride.

I LOVE that ride! I have all of the ghost host's lines memorized..hehe..kinda scary. I like the Haunted Mansion at WDW a little bit better than the one at Disneyland, simply for the fact that there is a library in the one at WDW and the talking bride at the end is creepier because she's actually inside the ride.

They redid the ride! How foolish!! It ws perfectly fine the way it was....*starts to weep then cries* I want my sweetie!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! *a girls walks up to him and they kiss* Ok. I'm fine. We were talking about what again? Ahhh yes the haunted Mansion. They changed the ride to where you go in the attic and some retarded ghost beheads ALL her husbands. Tons of crapy retarded pictures then at the end she goes "Was it for love....or worse?" She then smiles and pulls out an axe. One word! RETARDED!!

Yeah. The attic does suck. I have a feeling that they are going to make Pirates just as retarded. I wish they would keep the rides the same. They are much better when not screwed up by technology.

The thing I find interesting is that people actually bring back fake, (and I've heard a few real) death certificates. As of course, Madame Leota instructs us to at the end of the ride. Spooky!

The ceiling actually does rise, so in a sense, the room does stretch. You can tell because the floor has no separation from the entrance room and the stretching room, therfore making it not an elevator

I love the singing statues. I have studied one statue on the ride at DL. I swear that it is Walt Disney statue there, but my family disagrees.

At first, I never wanted to go on the ride 'cause I thought it would be extremely scary, but I really like it now. I asked (recently) if I could join the 9,999 ghosts and a CM told me I needed a certificut-sp- I also remembered one time I asked them to smile and they told me they never smiled. I made a joke and yet they still didn't move their lips into a smile!! CM around that ride are really good!
