I'm the friend that told Xiaoyu that Namco reportedly said that Christie was based off Tyra Banks. I read that in the Wikipedia article on Christie Monteiro, though, so it's not definite. I personally think Christie looks a bit like JLo.

As for another, this isn't a physical resemblence, necessarily, since I don't know what the real man looks like, but I think King was a tribute to a Mexican wrestler known as Friar Storm (Fray Tormenta) who fights for the benefit of an orphanage:

I read somewhere that Masashi Kimoto based Sasuke's appearance and motives on Jin Kazama.

I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or sorta guessed it! I mean, it's obvious really. the first time I saw Sasuke I started to like him coz of his jin-ness, the looks, the quiet personality, everything. Then came along the Cursed Seal, and Cursed Seal Lv2 where he got these wing-like hands on his back he uses to fly whee
I base many of my Jin arts on Sasuke ^^;

That is a mere coincidence.

There are a lot of wrestler characters that fight for children in one way or another. King's character is based from a wrestler called tiger mask. I got that from wiki so it may not be accurate, but it sounds good enough.

First of all, bear with me. There's more than it meets the eye.

They both have pale-white skin with a scar across their face (two for Goh).
Both Dragunov and Goh have a grappling-style of fighting (Dragunov does Combat Sambo while Goh does Judo).
Lastly, they both come from a more balanced remake of the series's most recent game (Dark Ressurection and Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution), added along with one other brand new character that is mostly a striker (Lili and Brad Burns) That and the fact that they're both evil.

He looks more like Brian confused
