Tia turned to look at where the sounds had come from. She had hoped it was the captain instead she saw a soaked man. She didnt want an interuption in her lesson but she wasnt about to ignore another crew member.
"Just rest I susspose. We'll have pleanty of work once the Captain arrives. So best dry your clothes and make the best of this down time."
Tia waited for Tracey to start the lesson, but watched the new crew mate on board.

Tracey was highly embarrassed for someone to come around when he was in such a close proximity to Tia. However, he didn't jump away from her. He just remained still. Tia said what needed to be said, he just added, "If you were stuck on the island a long time, I'd suggest just getting used to a ship and your trade again."

Then he was back to paying complete attention to Tia, his tone was lower now, though. "I don't agree with it either, I am glad to say that England is giving it up, its the new world that, I have heard, is getting used to it. As a pirate, I have learned not to judge people, but once branded as a pirate, no one can expect the same anywhere else." He then started the lesson, very slowly moving her hands in the correct motions.

First, he showed her how to even the ropes out, then he started on making the ends cross over each other, then go under and back up on the rope segment of the end just crossed. If at any point Tia took over, he would still hold on, just wouldn't stop her from moving on her own, unless she was making a mistake, then it was gently slowing her down to correct it.

Absentmindedly, he did lightly stroke the back of her hands with his thumbs when a step was done.

Tia eyes and hands cocentrated on making the knot while her mind on the other hand good not keep focused. Tracey was so close to her and she had never felt happier then in this moment. Was she starting to fall in love with him. Impossible she thought as she had ony known him for a little bit in time. Why then was she feeling this way towards him. As they finished the first step she felt his thumb lightly stroke the back of her hand which made her blush even more. She wondered what was on his mind at this moment, but of course she wouldnt ask, most likly he was only thinking about the knot. Tia relaxed and as she did she leaned back slighty so they were tocuhing. Feeling him she was embrassed, but she didnt want to jerk away in fear of upseting him.
"...This is much easier..." Tia said as they were close to the not being done.
"Ive always learned by watching and doing so words only served to confuse in the matter." Tia wanted to say more or even express the way she felt but even though she was brave when it came to battle she was not so brave when it came to things like this.

Tracey was thinking about the knot, for the most part. He had expected her to move away from him when the knot was done. The fact that she leaned against him sent his heart into speeding up and he did blush a bit more. Had there not been someone else, he may have even ventured to actually hold her, he wanted to thats for sure.

Why in the world was he feeling so much so fast, he hadn't a clue, but didn't feel wrong. "I am glad this method is helpful." Without thinking it out fully, he asked her, "Would you like me to show you another knot?" He just didn't want to let her go yet.

In that moment where nothing was said Tia held the finished knot oddly in her hands wondering if he wanted her too move. Tia felt safe and really didnt want to leave this spot. So when he spoke of another knot she was just delighted.
"Yes its very helpful and yes I would really love to learn another knot."
Tia untied the knot they had just done and then returned her hands under his. She secretly wished she was blod enough to drop the knot and turn around and hugging and maybe even kissing him. Tia thought though that Tracey would think her a loony. So instead she settled for learning another knot.

((XD Tia's never had a crush she is sooo clueless on this game))

ooc: Tracey is as well, he just needs to loosen up just a tad and be out if eyesight of anyone before he got very bold

IC: He had the perfect idea, the endless chain! Then he remembered that it would be very difficult to get that done while standing with nothing to press down on. Sure they could use the ship itself, but he was thinking it foolish. So, he settled for the stronger version of what he just taught her. "This is the second most common knot because it’s a lot stronger. When securing rigging, this is normally what people use. This or the figure 8."

Tracey took her through the steps of making the knot he had already shown her, again his thumb lightly stroked the back of her hand. This time, before the knot could be completed, he showed her how to do that same process with the remaining rope, which can be tricky if the rest of the rope was planned out badly. Although he was tempted to mess up, he hadn't the making that knot above itself was not difficult.

"Thats how you do a double overhand knot." His words were like a finalization of the lesson, but his gentle hold on her hands was not dropped. 'This', he thought, 'would be the time to step away from me, if I am the only one feeling this way.'

Tia watched the lesson in rather a trance but she rather felt it true that her hands would remember. Tia concentrated on wishing she was bold, but it was no use. She totaly did not hear him end the lesson she just stayed in his grasp before realizing her hands werent moving and he was no longer speaking anymore. ~Oh no ~ Tia thought to herself thinking that he was standing there going what the bloody hell is wrong with her.
"Umm figure eight yes, now it makes complete sence." Tia felt like slapping herself she still hadnt moved nor had she spoken correctly. Such a fool she must seem after another moment she forced herself to start moving.
"Sorry, I...emm" Tia was totaly dumfounded on what to say.

She had stayed in his arms, for a time anyway. Then she started not speaking much sense before moving away from him. He wanted to kick himself. The mistake was his; he had been foolish and wrong. The proof that beating himself up was necessary was that she felt that she had to apologize. Stepping back, as try and not make her more uncomfortable with him he spoke, "I you do not need to apologize, I should not have held on to you after the lesson was over. I am sorry for that." He just hopped she would still trust him after that.

Tia turned to look at Tracey, she took her hand and moved her hair out of her eyes. Cheeks still blushing she smiled abit though she wondered if she was wrong.
"You werent holding me, I stayed there on my own. ..........Truthfully I hadnt noticed that the lesson had ended." She looked to the ground wondering what he would think of her for saying this. Tia was abit frightened to admit she had stayed leaning agaisnt him, maybe he was only being nice and trying not to upset her.

Tracey didn't have a thing for words most of the time, he found that saying nothing got him in a lot less trouble then not. Finally, he decided to just tell it her straight. "I...I didn't tell you it was over because I didn't want you to move. I do appologize that was improper of me, using my skill with knots in that manner. I hope you will not distrust me in the future. "He wouldn't turn away; he felt he deserved to be slapped for that, so he was ready to take it, a blush having faded from his face now.

Tia was unsure how to react to what he had said. She looked at him for a moment, it seemed he was waiting for her to do something, but she wasnt sure what. She wondered why he thought she would not trust him, she was happy in thoses moments. She laughed in her mind at what she was about to do.
"I....I hope Im not being to foward, but...." Tia took the steps so she was close to him and she simply hugged him from a loss of the right words to say.
"I dont think Im able to distrust you Tracey."

Tracey expected a slap, so when she came towards him, thats what he thought he was going to get. Her hug surprised him greatly. It was almost worth laughing over; she thought she was being forward when he had down right tricked her into staying in his arms moments before. He couldn't believe it, she was now willingly in his arms, no tricks pulled.

Now, he had to figure out how to hug her, arms around her waist was too intimate a move for him to pull, especially this early in what might be a relationship. Finally, after what seemed like forever but was really only a minute or two, his mind finally found the idea it could settle with. Bringing his arms around her shoulders, he hugged her back. This wasn't a completely a friendship hug, he was holding her closer, being gentle but firm on his embrace of her. Nothing he did would be hard for her to back away, even this.

In order to talk to her without the fear of his voice being unpleasantly loud to her ears, he lowered his tone. "So long as you're not making yourself uncomfortable, and staying true to who you are, then you are not being too forward." He battled two sides of himself, by the morals of the times, even this was too much, too intimate. However, he knew pirates like him had their own rule, to do what makes them happy. Morals of society matter not unless its pirate society.

Not for the first time in his life, he was unsure of which side to take. Somethings would have be put the side, like if this gets serious, he won't be able to talk to her father about his interests. Letting that train of thought go, after all it would be a bridge to cross in the future. Speaking again he says, "I am so relieved that I have not ruined your trust in me." That, he felt, would be a fate worse then being slapped a thousand times.

There was one more major problem, they were sharing this moment on the deck of a ship! If she didn't put an end to it, he would have to. this is not something that should be shared with the rest of the world. If the captain thought that he only wanted Tia abord because he cared for her, he might be shooting himself in the foot. While he would very much like the idea of everyone leaving Tia alone because they though he and she were a couple, this moment would not be why he wanted them to think that.

ooc: The events Tracey is reacting to happen in the Isla thread

IC: Tracey was content to just hold her; no words were needed between them at the moment. The peace and happiness was shattered when the Captain flew onto the deck, from where he was, he could see Annabelle. 'Oh no!' He thought to himself, he had to go help her!

Letting go to Tia he explains as he backs away, starting to follow the captain, "I have to go help her; she is like my little sister." Turning then, he ran below deck searching everywhere to find the Captain and Annabelle.

Finally after searching each deck, a good way to get to know the ship if he had been paying attention to anything besides the fact that the two people he was looking for were not in them. In the lowest deck, he found them. Walking passed the Captain, he stood between them, bowing before replaying, "Captain, I know Annabelle; she is my little sister, not by blood. I can help her, she needs water, and something cool to get rid of the sweat. I am not sure where to get these items." He didn't know where to go to get what Belle needed.

Approaching her, unafraid of what she had. Now, he had something to lose, Tia so at least he was more careful by not breathing near the air she was breathing. "Annabelle." He whispered softly, why in the world was she out here and why hadn't he stayed to protect her when he saw her with the captain?

Falling to the ground weakly when Aiden had spread his wings, all Victoria found herself doing was shivering. She had never seen a sickness like that before, and right away, she dropped to her knees and hugged herself tightly, looking upset. "Gareth..." she whispered hoarsely, leaving her sleeve on the ground and staggering towards the inn where she had been stationed, immediately going to soak in a bath. If the girl was ill, she didn't want to find herself contracting the illness.

Once stripped and sitting in the tub, Victoria submerged herself in the water, coming up after about five minutes, gasping for air. Shaking her head lightly, she pushed her white hair out of her face, heart stopping its mad beating to a more regular, relaxed one. Thinking of many things, she fiddled with the medallion around her neck, biting her lower lip as she continued to think.

Eventually, she got out of the water and changed back into her clothes, sigh at the ripped sleeves, hoping to God that she wouldn't start being greedy when she got on the ship.

Travelling over to the Auarius at a leisurely pace, hips swinging in a suggestive manner, she found that she had to crawl up ropes in order to get to the damned thing (she didn't see any ladders at the moment), and grumbled, lurching over the rails as she toppled onto the deck, now in a worse mood than she had been prior. Sighing, she began to make her way around the ship, getting to know the deck before she went below, doing the same with each level. Eventually, she came to where Annabelle and Aiden had gone, clearing her throat to announce her presence.

"Captain...is there anything I can do to help?"

McCallahan had been a state of panic since the coughing fit Annabelle seemed to be suffering from began. He had never seen a sickness such as this one throughout all of his life and was not certain of what to do. Never would he had wished to bring the woman below decks without her approval, but considering her situation he felt there was little else to do. Once she awoke, he shook slightly and looked in her direction, "Lass.." He spoke, trying to ease her, while keeping a slight distance, "Calm down... You are safe on Aurarius.." Once Annabelle began to weep and wrap herself up with her arms and legs, the man could not help but bite his lip sadly. How would he explain to her that the only way she could remain upon his ship would be if she stayed below deck. Breathing out and then clearing his throat, Aiden began, "..I have brought you aboard my ship without your discretion only due to the circumstances... I understand this is not the perfect moment to speak, but if you wish to remain with my ship, you must stay below decks until we find a cure for whatever ails you.. if not, I may return you to land with the care of whomever I deem fit-"

The captain was suddenly cut off my stumbling footsteps and a quickly approaching Tracey. Standing before him, Aiden cleared his throat once again, somewhat bothered by the man's tact. By the loving way Tracey looked in Annabelle's direction, it was clear that the two had known one another in some way. Having not known of what to get Annabelle, it pleased Aiden to hear that Tracey was already acting quickly, "The cool water is only one level above us now in a large barrel.. the storage level. You can also find a few rags to dampen if that would help at all." Feeling panicked still, the man quickly added, "Act quick and please keep a slight distance from Annabelle, dispite your aquaintence with her."

Unlike Tracey, Victoria approached in a much more calmed fashion, something even the captain was unable to do at the moment. Having been looking to Annabelle worriedly, he nearly did not hear the woman's question. Turning to view who had been speaking, he nodded and then pointed out where she had came, "Above this level is the storage supply. Tracey has gone up in order to search for cool water and clothes.. please follow him and see if there is anything else you feel Annabelle will need."
