"I think the superior will dismiss us when we're finished, don't you?" Xidme gave Xaldin a disdainful look. Personally, he was a bit suspicious that he and Sai'x were choosing to withhold information from the rest of them, and Sai'x had come late, so they had no excuse to try to end the meeting early.

"Why do you wish to stay here if there is nothing left to be said" Sai'x stared at Xidme. Sai'x believed that everything was taken care of was set to leave.

"It is your rude assumption that there's nothing else to be said," Xidme turned his annoyance towards Sai'x. We're trying to access Kingdom Hearts, for god's sake. Do these people take themselves seriously or not?

Xemnas snapped another disdainful glare around the table when the bickering had started once more, but in the end his eyes rested on Xaldin, slightly impatient but maintaining a strict control. "I called us here to discuss matters that at this point are quite uncertain," he informed in a soft but dangerous voice, "We've come up with some good ideas, but we still have no absolute knowledge on whether or not this situation could turn out for our better or for our worse. I would like to believe we have everything under control, and I would most definitely like to believe that everything is settled, but we should know more than anyone how important precautions are, even if they seem petty and more trouble than they're worth." He paused a moment to let his words settle, though his gaze stayed on Xaldin. After a moment longer he took a breath and gestured towards the door, "You may take your leave if you think that a wise decision, but if you take your leave now I expect to be informed of your 'matters' very soon, and they had better be of profit to us." Xemnas' gaze remained cold and stern as he gave the two permission to leave early, but his compliance with their request was obviously disparaging, and his tone stressed the risk they would be taking if they so chose to dismiss themselves.

Xaldin's eyebrows furrowed as he shot an venomous glare at Xidme. The expression faded but a moment later as he took on his placid visage once more. He nodded curtly towards Xemnas before rising, Saix next to him following suit. "If what we suspect is true, then this could quite possibly be the most important information we have gathered thus far. As you said, we must take every precaution, which is exactly what we plan to do." Without waiting for a response, Xaldin opened a portal and strode through, Saix following without a word.

Xemnas watched Xaldin and Sa'ix leave with a slightly flustered frown, but in response he merely tapped his fingers on the table, his gaze following them and seeming to say in a threatening manner, 'It had better be as important as you claim it to be!' As soon as the two and their portal had disappeared, Xemnas shot a glare to the rest of the crew as though he were challenging them to interrupt the meeting but once more. However, he quickly regained his composure as he tried to continue the discussion without losing any more momentum than had already been lost. "Where were we now?" Xemnas asked quietly, more to himself than anyone else, then nodded at Demyx raising his voice for all to hear once more, "Ah, yes, you had a slightly different outlook on how we should go about Sora's return, I believe? Now I must ask, how do you propose we should go about Plan A if it were given a chance, and if it happened to fail, how would we make up for lost time?" Xemnas restrained himself from pointing out any faults in the plan at this point for the sake of fair brainstorming opportunities, but his wry expression made it obvious that Plan A was definitely not favorable... but then again, who knew, if a descent proposal were to surface, with an equally descent backup plan, it might be worth a try... might be...

In a distant wing of the Castle that Never Was, the other end of Xaldin's portal opened in his "room". He casually stepped out from the darkness with Saix at his heels. He paced across the floor, going over all he had heard at the meeting. After several minute doing thus, he turned to his comrad. "We must hurry. The Superior is rather impatient as of late. Now then, what did you learn after I left?"

"It seems," Saix began, "that Sora has returned, and we have been made known to him. The sorcerer saw to that." As he spoke, the calm nature of his voice faded away, his berserker beginning to show through. It was obvious that he was making a supreme effort to keep it in check. "How should we go about this? I think it's become plain to see that Xidme's first idea is almost completely useless now."

Xaldin resumed his restless pacing, running through every future possibility. When he returned his gaze to Saix, a dark smile, filled with horrible pleasure saturated it. "I think it's time that we perform a bit more surveylance. You made sure to learn their destination before joining us?" Saix returned the smirk saying, "But of course." Xalding almost laughed. "Then let us be off!" Motioning with his hand before him, another portal opened, and the two disappeared into the darkness once more.

(( That's fine, as long as it is autoing with permission. 3nodding ))
Demyx looked a bit surprised. Oh, now he had to think?
He made a little noise and tapped his head thoughtfully, before raising a finger. "I'm ... not sure!"

Xemnas cocked a brow at Demyx as though he were expecting something more to be said, but in the end gave a disappointed, exasperated sigh. "Well, it sounds like Plan A's out," he announced, "I advise that we stick with Plan B, laying low, at least until we have the situation assessed further, and then move on to plan C. If anyone else has any suggestions, or useful information, speak now, otherwise I believe we're to be dismissed." He proceeded to glance at each person passively while he spoke, though he obviously felt discouraged at the outcome of this gathering. "Everyone is to keep an eye peeled, and an ear open for anything out of the ordinary. Watch the heatless - their behavior is surprisingly informative. And lastly, Axel has full permission to find and capture the girl for she could be of great use to us later, just keep her alive. Jezix should accompany you in this task since he's assigned to you, but if, and only if, he becomes too much of a hindrance, then you can leave him here, though I'd much prefer it if you didn't." Looking about one last time, Xemnas asks, "Any final bits of information, discussion, or questions on what we're to be doing?" He clasped his hands together, resting them on the top of the table to maintain a patient air as he awaited the final responses from the members who remained.

Axel placed a hand in his forehead in frustraion upon Demyx's response. "If you don't know then why bother suggesting it?" He asked, gazing over at him lazily.
He turned his head to his leader upon hearing his name. "I only left him last time because I thought he would scare the girl. I'd think if I were someone as delicate as she is, I'd be scared by two guys in dark coats travelling though darkness as well, nevermind just one." Axel stated in his defense, but not arguing Xemnas' orders.
"Don't worry about her though, I'll get her to you in one piece, so long as that Sora kid, or anyone else for that matter, doesn't get in my way. And if they do..." He grinned slyly, leaving the rest to the imagination.

Jezix grinned alongside his comrade, his golden eyes flashing with an evil gleam. "I get what you're saying, Axel. We'll...'take care of them,' as it were."
He turned to his leader, giving a respectful tilt of the head. "Leave her to us, leader. And thank you for allowing me to sit in on this meeting, even though I'm still new. I found it very informative."

"I'm not interested in the past, Axel," Xemnas replied with an impatient tone, "I was merely giving you an option if you so needed one, because that girl is Sora's goal, and we may need some, oh how would you say... 'trading currency'." His lips curled in a vile grin at the last bit as the plot formulated in his mind, and his eyes flickered with a raging inferno fueled by new ideas and inspiration to work with. Nodding to both of them he replied after Jezix spoke, "And thank you for being such loyal, ambitious members. I believe I can trust the two of you with retrieving the girl eventually, and your persistence is just the attitude I want from new and old members alike." He gave the two an approving look, though keeping a closer eye on Jezix to remind him that despite the praise he still wasn't the same rank as the others. "Ah, and if anyone sees Luxord, tell him I'd like a word with him," Xemnas added idly as a last thought to the remaining group upon making a mental note that he never showed up.

Xaldin's poral opened roughly 3 yards behind Xemnas, from it casually stepped Saix and his former mentor. Xaldin stepped ahead towards their Superior. "We have returned, and are ready to report our findings, which I do believe you will be glad to hear." He paused after saying this, showing respect to his leader by waiting for his response.
