"Alright, Cye, you ready?" Brayden called, releasing the Feraligatr from his Pokeball. His scaley companion growled eagerly, ready for the match. He rose to his hind legs, snapping his jaws in preparation.
"Alright now, let's start things out, you should know what to do, use a Hydro Pump on that Magmar," Brayen instructed. Cye reared, throwing his head back before snapping it in the direction of his opponent, firing off a burst of powerful water at the Magmar. The water struck home, blasting at the fire type.
Cye grinned, bringing the burst to a halt, as he brought himself back to all fours, circling his opponent.

"Cye, you alright?" Brayden asked, as the Feraligatr was startled by the flash. Cye stumbled a bit, seeming disoriented, and Brayden recognized it immediately as confusion.
This might cause some problems...
"Okay, Cye, if you can hear me, use another Hydro Pump," Brayden requested. Cye was able to fight through the confusion, blasting at the Magmar with another burst of water.
