"True but, if you don't eat you'll be weakend still do it doesn't realy matter." I say as I rub my eyes. " I'd rather have the fight soon because then we'll have a better chance to talk with eachother in private while the guards are out."

"Talk of what? Our horrible fate? The fates of our predecessors? We have naught to talk about, in private or in public." I scoff.

[The meat has a taste of Lamb meat, but it has a horrific aftertaste due to it being rotten. The meat was pretty much meat left out in the open for what seems to be 2 weeks, leftovers from what the other slaves didn't eat. There is no hint of poison in the meat as thought.]
Down the hallway you can hear a clapping of leather boots getting louder as it approaches the cell. A bloodcurling scream can be heard in the hallway, getting louder and clearer. After a few minutes of listening to the screams, you can see a hallowed figure of a person, as well as another person. Upon moving into the torch light, you can see the person, one of the Vashar that runs the Slave pits dragging what appears to be a Gnomish man, by ropes attached with hooks in the man's chest. The party recognizes this preticular Vashar, his face warped and over half his skin over his jaw missing, a rather large hole upon his forehead that extends about an inch deep, his left hand that is holding the ropes is ended with sharp claws, his body covered in nearly countless scars and scabs. This rather large 6'10" musclebond human (or for what you could call him human, more correct would be monster) is called 'Sylick the Unrelenting' by the other Vasharan, and Master Sylick by the slaves.
Angered a bit, but more in a thrill of excitement, he picked up the ropes from which he was dragging the Gnome with two hands, then in a complete circle spin, slammed the Gnome's head into the stone wall, killing him instantly. Cackling insanely, he then turned towards the cell, smiling with his absolutely grim appearance at the party.
"Heh, he was fresh and decided to act up, so I was asked to take care of him. So how do ya like the meat? It's aged and rotten, just like you like it, heh heh heh. You'll be sent to the arena later in the day, the monsters and spectators are getting bored with the foolish worn slaves, so we decided to send in our betters. Hopefully your fate won't be one like your friend over there by the wall."
And with that, Sylick cackled and walked back down the hallway, tracing his claw along the walls to leave a streak against the hard stone.

I reach for a smaller pack on my side, and draw out a small brightly colored arrow."May your return to her be swift and straight like an arrow." I chant, placing it in his hands, while holding back tears.

I look around at the others with one eyebrow raised "So is anyone still hungery?" I ask dryly.

"Yes of course, the guilty until proven innocent idiology" I mutter sharply "Never mind. We should save hostility for those who they'll throw us into the arena to fight" I say outloud regaining calmness to my voice.

"Enough with yer gibbering, foolish meat, git on yer feet and get yer arses ta the arena before ye get the stabbings again!"
In front of the cage stands another Vashar, one that the party also recognizes. His name is Gorgrim, quite an obese fellow holding a Heavy Trident that is a of a blood red color, the tip still dripping with blood. The man was grossly overweight, probably because of gourging himself in food on a constant basis. His body was cover, as Sylick's was, with scabs and scars, probably self-inflicted by his own nature. Unlocking the door, he pointed the Trident at the party and motioned down the hallway.
"Time is a wastin', gitter move on!"

((so used to slow games I suppose I expected the same of this one, glad to see my assumption were wrong biggrin ))
Kern woke slowly after the sound of cracking bone upon stone walls, he had been resting on one of the "beds" relatively unnoticed, he sat up wiping the sleep from his face, as Sylick went on his way he couldnt help but mutter "Unrelentingly insane..." he gets up and grabs a scrap of the meat chewing it without complaint before heading back sit upon the bed. He looked to the cleric "Respect for the dead is fine, but if you weep every death in this place, you'll soon find yourself all dried up." he had no sooner finished he sentence than Grogrim appeared. "Time to go I suppose.." he thought to himself as he got up

I simply glance at Grogrim, giving him a wrathful stare "So we meet again Grogrim" I smile maliciously.

I stand up, wiping the tears from my eyes. Thank you, Kern. I will be strong for his memory. Turning to Gorgrim, I mutter, Now let's get out of this cell. At least the pits have some light."
