Hm, well their captins and crew much have liked the idea when they opted to join, so perhaps it's just a matter of asking the crew members of the nonparticipating Guilds to give some more open support.
Besides, we've not had a new member for over a week now.

Well, you can't just expect them to up and join out of thin air. Too many people on Gaia aren't intellectual, so the idea of a guild made from other guilds is just kind of monotone, unoriginal and boring. To lots of people that's just what this is, I'm sure. "Union"? So what?
The guild's captain is barely ever around, anyway. You have to get a guild on its feet before expecting it to walk around on its own, and you have to be the one to do that. Believe me, I helped a guy make a guild out of nothing. Now neither of us goes there, but I check back once a month or two and sure enough, there are always three or four posts that were made earlier that same day. It's not a huge guild or anything, but it's walking.

Don't you find that strange? It really isn't that hard to try to spell correctly.

kaede51 Don't you find that strange? It really isn't that hard to try to spell correctly. well i don't think that should be something to demand...a lot of people don't really know how to spell everything correctly..
but ifyou want more members...how about sending invites to members of the guilds that are part of this union xp

Well, you only have to try to spell right. And I think they did send invites to the members of the guilds that are in the union? I'm not sure, though.

The spelling doesn't have to be perfect, just comprehensible. It would be silly to demand perfection when for the majority it is a second languange.
What I find strangest, is the guilds that said they wanted to join have mostly not got a single member here in the guild..

Like I said, you have to make it interesting for people to want to join.
This is dead.

Don't say that! sad And yeah, there isn't really anything going on right now. Of course, that may have something to do with the fact that we don't have many members.

That's the main problem really.
You need people for things to happen, and people won't come if nothing happens.
I didn't think it would because a problem though, because the feedback from the national guilds was so positive that I assumed people would turn up very suddenly and things would happen right away.
So, with that in mind, are there any suggestions?
