wow, i can't see why parents would have a problem with Gackt eek
parents are wierd
but everyone i've gotten to listen to Gackt ended up loveing him ^^
even my step mom... but every time i show people a picture of him
every single one of them think he's a woman xd
it's accualy funny...cause i'll be like, "ya i like this jrock star called gackt
and i show them a picture then i'm like ya his music is so cool-- and then there like eek that's a guy? and i'm all like Yup ^^

What did your family/friends think?
My dad was like...what is this crap? [To his music.] Which pissed me off so much that I got into a fight with him, and still holds a grudge over that. sweatdrop
My mom thinks he sings nice, but that he looks weird. My mom thinks he's a gay guy since he's waaaaaaaaaay prettier than her. And since he wears make up.
My aunt and uncle were like: Ah, I see now, you like THOSE type of guys.
Me: Huh?
Them: The type of guys who wear heels and make up. You know THOSE type of guys.
Me: ...?
Some of my friends were like he's so ******** hot, the others were like he's hot, but damn, is he a girl? And the others just thought I was weird...since I thought Gackt was hot and no Justin Timberlake, or Usher...Pfft whatever. Gackt PWNS THEM ALL! domokun

Okay, truthfully speaking, when I first saw a pic of Gackt (which was a while after I heard his music) I thought, wow, he's ugly o.X;; Weeks later, I thought he was hot.
When I first heard of him/saw his pic I thought he was too pale for his own good. *cough* er...yeah.

My parents hate gackt....actually they hate all of the J-rockers I like.......BUT THAT DOESNT STOP ME!!!!!*attempts to print alot of Gackt pictures out but cant because there is no paper in the printer*

At a forum I joined a few years ago, I saw a member that had an avatar of Gackt [I think she has a different one of him now ^^]. My first thought was, "Wow, he has gorgeous eyes."
I got into him a few months later when I listened to his songs. ^_^

My first impression was...that he was ONE WEIRD guy. Like I said, I found out about Gackt because I was obsessed with Final Fantasy at the time, mainly Squall. I ended up on a website that said Squall was modeled after Gackt, and next to Squall was a extremly weird picture of Gackt...when he was in Malice Mizer. I actually thought...HOW COULD SOMEONE AS HOT AS SQUALL be MODELED AFTER HIM?

Impression? Does that mean, what I first thought of him? I'm okay at English, but I need to work on bigger words. My first impression of him was when he was in Malice Mizer, watching it on TV as a 5-year-old.
I thought he was kind of scary and I was actually forbidden to watch TV after that. My parents thought he was scary, too. They STILL think he's scary because once, we all turned on the TV to see Gackt's TAKANO YURI Clinic CM and he was with a naked girl, the Vanilla song in the background.

I know the guy the Konami people modeled Vamp (Metal Gear Solid 2) from is. . . quite hot. ^^
