Monokuro Boo I'm working on two punchneedle projects. Since this is the first time I'm punchneedling, I'm using two kits. One is a butterfly and they other is a cow. They're really cute. 3nodding cool. My mom used to do punchneedle stuff. She made me some very cool sweatshirts when I was little.

I started making a "soft sculpture" last night--basicly, it was going to be a crocheted candy dish with wire supports (made of recycled silk; I love it). Well, as I'm working on it, it strikes me that it would make a lovely hat.
So I'm going to wear it to class, take it off, put the wires in and a bag of mini snickers, and then after the critique, I'm going to remove the candy and wires and put the hat back on. ^^

Still working on my cat's paw lace shawl. I've done 103 of 130 rows, with 4 increases every other row. I've got over 200 stitches on the needles at the moment. @_@ I'm also casting on for socks today. The yarn is mostly purples with the ocassional inch and a half (knitted up) strip of bright yellow. It's called Honey Fig from sweet georgia. So purdy. heart At last, but not least, and definitely the most hurried is a wire sculpture of a teapot. It's for a class, but it's still pretty darn neat, and it's something I might enjoy getting into outside of class.

Eight rows left on the shawl, and a row and a half into my socks. I ended up not casting on for the socks on Tuesday, or rather, I did cast on, but when I tried to join, my poor brain was unable to cope with the complexity of 2x2 ribbing while it was fending off a cold.

A few things actually, one is a mostly wood thingy that is going to hang on the wall, I'm about half way through that... I'm about to start something close to that but with bamboo and a dragon I'm going to sculpt really soon, there is also a mini wooden building I'm making. I still have to add the strap to a latex mask I made. And I have a few things in a box that are waiting for some more supplies befoure I can get those done (I hate running out of stuff gonk ).
I'm thinking about making a pillow out of some random cloth I have in the basement soon.

Celestyal I'm still working on scarfs. sweatdrop But hey, I like scarfs!! And hats!! i like scarves too. i'm never allowed to make them because i have to make so many hats, but sometimes i sneak in one of the ones that you knit with chunky yarn and uber-big needles! i like my size 17s! heart

I have a million projects going at the moment but the one foremost in my mind is a rug i'm making out of old tshirts. I'm really into planning for my future dorm room/ first apartment at the moment and most of my projects (painted coffeetables and stools, quilts out of old bandanas, etc.) revolve around that.
