Wamu flew through the air towards Hector, who was scambling to his feet. But Hector could not move fast enough. And as Wamu landed on top of Hector, Hector's axe connected firmly with Hector's thigh.

But there was not any time for a scream of pain. In landed on top of Hector, Wamu's right foot landed on Hector's neck. Crushing it instantally. It was a quick and relatively painless death.

Wamu held onto the axe and ripped it out of Hector's thigh. Wamu wanted to keep it as a momento to what he had done here today. In the blink of an eye, he reverted to his normal form and contemplated for a moment how he was going to transport the axe around when a booming voice came through.

"YOU HAVE DONE WELL, WAMU! YOU WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO YOUR NORMAL PLANE OF EXISTANCE! YOU WILL FIND THE PIECE OF YOUR ARMOUR AND MUKA THERE!"

And like that, Wamu was transported back to the normal world. Only now, he was standing in at large room- not the middle of a crater. The sun light flittered through some glass and mirrors in the roof, illuminating the area well. Looking around, Wamu saw an unusal red light shining at one end and what appeared to be an exit at the other. But one thing annoyed him, Hector's axe was no longer in his hands.

Moving towards the red light Wamu felt as though he was actually being pulled towards it. And the closer he got, the redder things got and the more he felt pulled towards it.

After Wamu had be walking for about 15 minutes, he finally reached the red light. It was coming from two large gems. Wamu walked right up to them and touched them. The two gems seemed to emit the red light in alternating pattern. But that changed when Wamu touched them. The patterns suddenly changed and small cracks appeared within each gem.

At the same time, they shattered into millions of tiny pieces- that melted away when they hit the ground. Yet, where the center of the gems was meant to be, two things hung in the air. The first was the next part to armour- Ruby-mail Leggings.

The other was Muka.

Wamu looked up at Muka and then at the leggings. Both of them were suspended in the air. Not moving from where they hung. It was amazing how they both just hung there.

Sudden, the leggings shifted, well more changed. They just crumbled into shards of red and flew towards Wamu's legs. At the same time, Muka suddenly dropped. Acting on instinct, Wamu launched himself through the air and caught her before she hit the ground.

Placing her on the ground carefully, Wamu noticed that the leggings had attached themselves to his legs. But they where not his concern right now, Muka was.

Muka was out cold and complete unresponsive. Wamu held her close to him and did not know what to do. Looking at her motionless face, he could not hide his tears. They ran down his face and dripped down onto hers. and as the thrid one touched her face, just jolted back into life.

Muka suddenly sat up and took a deep breath of air. Her eyes opened wide and looked around her. And when they feel on Wamu, she clung to him was tight as she could.

Slowly, the pair released each other from their tight embrace and made their way out of the large cavern they were in. Waiting at just outside the entrence was Kam. As soon as Muka lay eyes on him, she started charging at him.

"I am going to kill you for what you did to me!" She screamed as she drew her hailbard.

But Wamu moved faster and stopped her from doing anything stupid.

"You are going to have to trust me on this one, Muka. Kam did nothing wrong. He was only doing what needed to be done. As he said to me, if there were another way it could have been done- he would have done so himself. But it had to be the way it was, otherwise I would have never gained the control I now have." Wamu pleaded.

Muka slowed herself and lowered her weapon. As she did so, she gave a faint smile to Kam. It was obvious that she did not trust him completely, but it was atleast a start.

The trio walked back to the villiage in silence and then the moment they entered it, there was an earth shattering cheer. All the Horisan's were cheering for Wamu's success. Patting him on the back, Kem lead them towards a large open area with tables and a raised platform. Waiting until they were all, Kem finally spoke.

"For centuries, there has been some bad blood between our two mighty people. But here, today, Wamu has not only helped his own people, but ours. An act that will forever be remembered by us. Now, let the party begin!"

Another cheer went up as food and drink sudden appeared, as well as Horisan music filling the air.

After what seemed like days of partying, things died done and everything returned to normal in the Horisan village. Wamu, Muka and Kem were all equally worn out- but in different ways.

Wamu was physically drained from being shifted through the dimensions and the variousfights he engaged in. Muka was emotional drained from suddenly being frozen in place by an unknown force only to have them revealed as allies. And Kem was mentally drained from organising all of the various parts his people played and the parties. Yet, all three of them were unable to just lie down and sleep.

Together they climbed to the roof of Kem's place and looked out on the entire sleeping village. The full moon's light sprinkled around and made everything feel calm. And together they took a moments rest from all the chaos they were part off.

Yet, admist this ending of one part of their journey, it was merely another beginning. Wamu, Muka and Kam knew all to well that it would not be too long until they had to part ways with the possibly of never seeing one another again.

Over the top of the distant mountains, the morning sun slowly spread its first few rays into the Plains of Dust. It was a sight of such beauty. Stirring from the little sleep they had gotten, Wamu slow lifted Muka off him and placed her softly on the flooring. Slowly and as quietly as possible, he walked over and stood as close to the edge of the roof as possible- just to take in the mornings first lights. Stirring from Wamu's movements, Kam joined him.

"I remember when I was younger being woken by my father one really cold morning, well before the sun had risen. Quietly, we slinked out of the house and climbed to the top of the plateu near our village. I protested, until I saw the sunrise. It was just as, if not more beautiful than the one I see before me. For almost an hour, we sat there in silence before my father told me something that I will never forget. 'No king has ever been able to do anything without the help of those around him.' To this day, I never fully understood what it meant. Yet, now, as I think about everything has happened to me over the last year or so, if it were not for the help of those I have travelled with- I would have never gotten anywhere. Now, I know it may not be the easiest thing in the world for you to do, but I would be honoured if you were to join me and Muka on our journey."

"I would be honoured to join you both. It will only take a day to organise everything. But how will Muka take it, she is not my number one fan you know."

Wamu looked over his shoulder at Muka and how the mornings first ray only made her look even more amazing.

"Don't worry about her for one minute. She will warm to you as quickly as I did."

A couple of days later, well after Kam had organised everything for his absence, the party was ready to set out. With the setting sun behind them, they climbed in the chariot and rode off into the distance.

Once there was some distance between them and the village, Wamu pulled out the Anubis Scroll and flipped through it to the next empty page. As he looked up it, the words appeared and he read them. Muka looked over his shoulder just out of interest and Kam drove the chariot. Once the writting stopped, Wamu refleted for a moment before speaking.

"We need to find a port and head to Mist. Somewhere there, in a swamp, I will face my last trial. Then, I will be ready to return to me village." Wamu said, with a hint of remorse at returning home.

Ignoring it, Kam thought and spoke. "Well, if we head out to down towards Zilbul and get a ship. From there, we ship to Silpheed and toward that swamp."

Wamu and Muka feel asleep in the back of the chariot, as Kam drove it through the shifting sands of the Plains of Dust. Kam did not mind, however. There would time for his to rest later on.

For now, it was just important that they got to Zilbul as fast as possible.

Kam stopped the chariot when he reached the peak of the mountains. For now, they would be safe to rest on the ground through the night. Quickly making a fire, Muka used her geomancy to make the ground a little more comfortable to sleep on.

At first light, the trio woke up and climbed aboard the chariot. Ensuring that all signs of their little campsite was removed, they started off for Zilbul again.
